Jade's POV
Everything was dark. I couldnt remember anything. I kept my eyes squeezed shut, trying to get any sense of who I was and what had happened to me. Then all of a sudden the memories came rushing back. Jesse tried to bite me and then a wolf saved me. My eyes shot open and I tried to sit up. I bit my lip in an attempt to distract myself from the blinding pain in my skull.
"Jade your awake," Isabelle said happily. I squinted up at her relieved face.
"Oh my God Isabelle you won't believe this!" I said excitedly. "Jesse fucken tried to bite me! And out of no where this wolf came and saved me!"
"Jade...you had a concunsion you tripped and hit your head on a rock when you were on a walk with Jesse." said Isabelle.
"Oh just shutup already Isabelle," Noah said.
"Umm WTF Noah," Isabelle yelled agrily. I turned to stare at Noah wondering what he had to say.. Damn he was hot. Ugh must not let my mind go there right now.
"Stop bullshittin her, it's time that she learns the truth. It's the only way to keep her safe," Noah said.
"And how do you know that!" Isabelle glared at him.
" I asked Kate." Noah growled. Woah wait. He growled what the heck is going on here.
"Oh well then I guess you're right..I'll tell her the truth," Mumbles Isabelle quietly. I turn my body slowly to face her, since my head still hurts when I move it.
"Uhh whats going on here?" I say. Isabelle glances at Noah and he just glares at her.
"Er...well um this might sound crazy but your right, Jesse did try to bite you and a wolf did save you." I stare at her as my mouth drops open.
"Are you serious?" I ask.
"Yes she is," Noah interupts.
"Yeah and well Jesse is a vampire," Isabelle says quickly.
"Wow really do you think I'm that stupid. Everybody knows vampires are'nt real they only exist in movies," I say angerly. You would think that after i just got hurt they wouldnt be screwing around with me but that just goes to shows how insensitive some people can be.
"No, I'm not lying. I'm serious vampires exist. And they aren't the only humans with power....There are others," Isabelle says. i look at her face trying hard to determine if she is lying or not.
"Jade." Noah whispers lovingly. My heart melts as he speaks my name.
"Yes Noah," I say earnestly. His eyes stare into mine I can see the truth in his eyes and I know in that instant that I can trust him.
"Isabelle is telling the truth. I...I'm a werewolf," he says tenderly. I know its the truth that he speaks.
"Noah, why didn't anyone tell me what Jesse was before. Aren't vampires dangerous," I say. I stare into Noah's eyes. He is so amazingly gorgeous. i can't believe I could have prefered Jesse over him. especially now that I know what Jesse is.
"Yes, vampires are very dangerous. Especially Jesse. He tried to kill you Jade," Noah says.
"Are you the wolf who saved me?" I ask even though I know the answer is yes. Noah gently grabs hold of my hand.
" Yes Jade I am. I love you i could'nt let you get hurt. You're my mate. The only one i'll ever love," says Noah. I stare at him. i can see the love in his eyes and I know why I've always liked him. Because we were meant to be soulmates. I was so engrossed in Noah that I barely noticed Kate entering the room.
"Umm i hate to break up the happy couple, but there is something else you should know," Kate says.
"Um what?' I ask.
"Isabelle can read minds...and I can see into the future," she says nochanlantly.
"WHAT?!?! Why didn't you guys tell me earlier!" I yell. I wince as a new wave of pain takes to my skull.
"Umm because we knew you'd freak out on us. Kinda like right now," she says while scowling at me.
" Ugh whatever. At least tell me why Jesse tried to kill me," I say. While looking from face to face. i am acutely aware of Noah rubbing his thumb against my hand.
"You have sweet blood. It's a rare blood type that only a few humans have. And vampires crave it," Noah said while looking rather angry. He tightened his grip on my hand as worry flashed across my face.
"Will he come back?" I ask. I look up at Noah, my eyes pleading with him to say no. He looks away quicky.
"I'm sorry baby but I think he will. I'll protect you from him Jade. Just like last time. I can't live wtihout you so I have to keep you alive," Noah said.
"Alright Noah, I trust you," I say as his face leans in towards mine and our lips meet. I feel him ask for entrance and I gladly let him in. I moan into his mouth as his tongue explores mine.
"Ew gross!" Isabelle says.
"Now that is something I could have lived without," Kate grumbled.
