(Y/n)'s POV
"Hey (Y/n), don't run off like that again," Aido said.
"Hmm? Why not?"
"For your own safety, I guess. It would be bad if a pureblood got injured, wouldn't it?" he asked with a smile.I flashed him a small smile. The first smile I've done in years. I thought I lost him as well when my mother forced me to move away.
"Well, I'm sleepy so I'm gonna go back to my dorm. Later (Y/n)," Aido exclaimed.
"Alright, bye."He left, going in the direction of his dorm. *sigh* I leaned against a tree. My life is pretty bad/boring with that mother of mine.
"Can't sleep?" asked Kaname.
"I guess you could say that. When are you gonna tell her?"
"Soon, when the time comes," he replied. We talked a bit more before he decided to go back inside. I went back in too.~The next day~
I woke up and got dressed into my school uniform. Apparently we had to go past a bunch of fangirls, according to Aido. The doors opened and he was right. There were a bunch of fangirls, from the Day Class I guess.
"Aido-senpai!"
"Kaname-senpai!" Then a boy jumped out in front of me.
"Yes?" "Um...please accept these flowers as my confession!" He bowed down in front of me and held out the flowers.
"Oi, come back here...now!" Zero growled. The boy immediately followed his orders. I guess Zero was frightening here. I saw that most of the boys were annoyed by the fangirls, except for Aido.
"Hi (Y/n), how was your first day?" Yuki asked.
"It was fine."
"Oh good, hope you'll like it here," she said with a smile.
"Cross-san? How come you can talk to the Night Class students?! That's not fair!" someone exclaimed. Geez, these fangirls. Some boys whistled at Ruka and Rima. I was safe- nevermind.
"Hey (L/n)-san! Catch!"Someone threw a package at me. I caught it effortlessly. I opened it and inside was a note and some chocolates.
Meet me after school in town at 3pm sharp.
Ugh, why were they so persistent? When we were finally alone, I passed the chocolates to Aido.
"Have them." He ate them like those were the last he was gonna eat in his life.
"Chocolates from my favourite pureblood are good," Aido exclaimed.
"They were actually from one of my fans." He froze.
"Awww, you could've gave it to Cain or someone!"~At 3pm~
I went to town alone. It wasn't like it was gonna be dangerous...well, for a pureblood anyway. I was waiting at a small cafe. Where was that guy?
"Hey, (L/n)-san! Over here!" I saw the boy wave at me. I went over to where he was.
"So was there anything you wanted to ask me?"
"Will you go out with me?"
"Wait, I came here only yesterday. How come everyone already knows about me?"
"Yuki spread the word that a beautiful girl had just came to the Night Class." I had no words to say.
"Oh and to answer your previous question, I'm sorry but no...I'm not interested."
"Oh, I understand. Well, anyway bye."He waved before taking his leave. Seriously? That was it? He could've just asked me at school. I decided to explore for a while since there was nothing better to do. I smelt blood.
I followed the scent to an abandoned building. Probably some level E. I headed inside and went to find the lone vampire. *sigh*
"Hello beautiful-" I glared at him. He crawled back in fear.
"P-pureblood? You are no comrade of mine. Leave me alone!" I held out my hand. He turned into ashes.
"You killed my father," a girl said out of nowhere.
"You level E's are beasts that need to be removed."
"How dare you?!"I was about to say something but she just attacked. I could've easily dodged but I honestly couldn't be bothered to. What was the point? She scratched me but my wound healed quickly. I sighed and dodged her every move.
"Stop dodging and attack! Or is this pipsqueak pureblood too scared?" she asked mockingly. Suddenly, a gun shot and she turned into ashes.
"Stop playing around," Zero exclaimed.
"You can't control what I do."Then out of nowhere, a little puppy came. Zero overreacted a bit and shot it. But I protected it. My leg stung but since I didn't drink blood for like half a year or was it one year? Well, I couldn't heal immediately from vampire hunter weapons. I picked up the frightened puppy.
"Use your senses." He just glared at me.
"It'd be better if you were dead." I stumbled across to a tree. The puppy looked at me with its big round eyes. I smiled slightly.
"It's gonna be alright. Zero's not gonna shoot you...or at least I think he won't."The puppy licked my cheek. I laughed. Animals were the only thing that kept me going. I had nothing else to live for.
"How can you laugh like that? Well, I guess a daughter of that woman wouldn't care about others." I let the puppy go. It ran away after looking at me one last time.
"Well, sorry if I was being so rude. If you want to take away my happiness, go ahead." I glared at him.
"What happiness could someone like you possibly have with animals? They're innocent unlike you, a vile piece of trash."
"Hey, it's not my fault that I wasn't allowed to have friends."My wound was sorta getting better but it'd take a while. I managed to walk a few steps before collapsing. *sigh* Why did I have to be born with a weak body?
Well, she always said to kill humans so I could drink their blood for a better body. But it wasn't like she said it in a way like she cared about me. It would just be troublesome for her if someone was to know that her daughter died.
"Need some help?" Zero asked, very annoyed.
"Like you would help 'someone like me'?"
"Headmaster would be upset if I didn't." I was about to get myself up but he sighed and picked me up. I immediately tensed.
"Thanks..."
"I'm not doing this for you," he stated with a menacing tone.
"At least it's nice to know- nevermind."
