Chapter 23

(Y/n)'s POV

Zero was platting my hair when Aido had come back.

"How's Subaru?"
"Oh, the Headmaster is taking him to one of the Day Class dorms," he replied.
"Zero, Aido, Kaname wishes to see you two," Ruka exclaimed.
"Aido, go. I don't need to listen to him," Zero said.
"Eh?! I don't want to go alone!" Aido argued. I stood up.
"Let's go." Aido immediately hugged me.
"My best friend!" he exclaimed.
"That is getting sorta annoying."
"Hehe, sorry but you're still my best-"
"I get it." He just laughed nervously.
"Thanks Zero."

He just smiled. He had done my hair in a french braid. We followed Ruka to Kaname's room. I knocked on the door.

"Come in," Kaname called out. Aido immediately pushed the door open and apologised.
"Kaname, he has done nothing wrong."
"He went to 'save' you without my consent. I believed you didn't need much help," he replied casually.
"True, I didn't need much help but I would've liked to see them."
"You can see them when you get back."
"I believe you know the feeling of 'being saved' so why do you intend to take that away from me?"
"I don't, I just thought you were capable of coming back yourself. You also had the company of that circus boy you brought back." *sigh* This was going nowhere.
"Anyway, I apologise for any trouble they have caused you so please forgive them."
"You did not cause me the trouble, the one you have to apologise to is Yuki."
"If I may ask, what have I done to upset her? I don't recall doing anything in particular that would add on to her stress."
"I believe you can ask her yourself." I dragged Aido out of his room.
"Are you gonna ask her?" Aido asked. I nodded.
"Well, good luck. I'm gonna go have a nap now," he said.
"Okay, see you later." He yawned and left. I went off to find Yuki.
"(Y/n), Kaname said that you were looking for me," Yuki exclaimed.
"Yeah, I need to ask you something."
"What is it?"
"What have I done to upset you?" She hesitated and didn't answer.
"It's fine. I won't bother you about that anymore if you're uncomfortable with it." She smiled.
"Thanks (Y/n)."
"Hey Yuki, even though I have been here for a while...I still don't know..."
"Hmm? Go on, ask away."
"Is there a piano anywhere?"
"A piano? Well, there is one in the Day Dorms..."
"Oh, thanks."
"You're welcome, I guess."

I wanted to play the piano for once since I haven't got the chance for about 1-2 years. After what seemed like hours of searching, I finally found the music room. I sat down and started to play, completely unaware that there were people secretly watching me. (Flashlight by Jessie J)

I closed the piano but then I could hear a loud round of applause. Don't tell me...they heard all of that?! I only sang because I was bored! A bunch of 'fangirls' surrounded me and asked for my autograph.

"Uh, yeah sure..."
"Get out," Zero ordered.
"H-hai!" They immediately ran off.
"You know, I understand why they would want your autograph," Zero exclaimed.
"Don't tell me you've turned into one of them as well?!"
"Of course not, I was just saying you have a beautiful singing voice," he replied. *blush*
"Haha, you're always blushing when I comment on something you do or what you look like," he said.
"Hey! It's just...different, I guess."
"Embarrassing coming from your boyfriend?"
"Shut up you." He just smirked and lifted me up.
"Put me back down!"
"Not in a million years, I'm never gonna let you go." *blush* He put me back down.
"Finally-" Then I felt somethings warm touch my lips.
"Zero!" He just laughed.
"I love you," he exclaimed.
"I l-love you too."
