Authors Note: I'm sorry that it's been so long! Almost 3 weeks since I've updated. There's really no excuse other than that I was writing a surprise chapter for my other fic that I hadn't updated since July! Anyways, I like this chapter very much and I hope you do too! Comment, vote, fan me, overall just keep reading! I love all your comments on my last chapter, I didn't know you guys were enjoying it that much! Sometimes I doubt the chapters and wonder if they're getting a bit unrealistic, but I guess this is fiction, right? I don't know, comment your advice if you want, haha. It would defiantly help me out! Enjoy! ~Cali
B Gally Imagine- Part 12
(Your POV)
When I woke up the next day, the bed was empty but I swear someone was with me last night. I could feel the presence of someone all night long, but it wasn't B because he was in Ottawa, the feeling was still comfortable though.
I stretched out my arms and slipped my slippers onto my feet before wandering down the hallway to the bathroom. I stopped midway when I heard something. It was voice, coming from the hall bathroom, the one I never used since we had the one in our room. I listened closely over the sound of the running water, someone was having a shower. Then I knew exactly who, a string of Russian words floated out from the bathroom. It was Alex and he was singing. So he sang in the shower. I giggled, I wonder what he was singing.
I continued to my bathroom to do the exact same thing, just a couple of kids singing in the shower.
-20 minutes later-
I got dressed and headed out to the living room. I wandered into the kitchen and saw Alex talking to someone who had their back to me. Obviously I knew exactly who it was, how could I not?
"Brendan!" He turned around and smiled. Walking over to give me a hug. He squeezed me particularly tight but it was nice hug.
"When did you get home?" I asked, it was only 9:30.
"Like 10 minutes ago, we left at 7 this morning. Hey but guess what?"
"What?"
Alex was standing awkwardly off to the side, twirling his fingers. I saw his lips move almost mimicking mine. I rolled my eyes at him and he laughed.
"So we have a road trip coming up, we play Toronto, then we cross the border and play Pittsburgh, New York Rangers and the Islanders, and finally Boston. Then we fly back from Boston."
I could feel my heart break, B would be gone for so long.
Ever since I was little I was really emotional. And if I could feel that I was about to cry, I would never be able to stop it. Right now I could feel that lump rising in my throat. I could feel the prick of tears. B was my safe person he couldn't leave me for that long. It was bad enough that I had a horrible panic attack when he was only gone for one night.
B noticed because he swatted at Alex, and hissed for him to leave the room. Alex obeyed, he looked concerned but it was nice he knew not to disagree and let me have my time.
"Hey, it's okay. There's no reason to cry."
I stared up at B as I swatted a tear that was rolling down my cheek.
"B! You're gonna be gone for so long and you think there's no reason to cry?!"
"No, because you didn't let me finish what I was saying."
I looked up at B waiting for him to finish what he was saying then.
"Coach T said you were aloud to come this time. Since it was gonna be longer, plus some of the other guys are having there wife's flown up later on, but you'll be traveling with us. It took Coach T a bit to allow that but I got a note from Dr. Haye saying that it was dangerous for your health to leave you alone for that long period of time. So coach pretty much had to say yes."
