"I miss you, I miss you a lot. I think about you all the time."
The man on the other end of the phone line sighed. He wanted to see his blonde haired companion, he wanted to hold his bundle of joy, he just wanted to see Harry again. He knew that he couldn't though, he knew he needed to stay put and sort himself out before he went back to the younger.
"I miss you too love. I miss you so much, but I'm not in a good place, and I can't bring you into this."
Small sniffles could be heard through the line. Harry was crying, not a hard cry, but enough to make small tears roll down his face.
"Get better faster. Please Josh, I need you here with me."
Harry's voice cracked multiple times through the sentence, and tears started falling more heavily. But Josh knew that he needed to stand his ground, even if the sound of Harry crying broke his heart.
"I love you Hazza, I will always love you. I'll be back home soon, I'll be back to you, just be patient for a few more months. I love you Harold, more than anything in the world."
Josh stayed silent until Harry replied with a meek,
"I love you so much. Be safe please."
With that, the phone line went dead.
