Chapter 9:
(Deeks point of view)
I pass my hand through my hair fustrated. I didn't know of the doctor hadnt done his tests well or the guy who invited Vance is lying. Kensi next to me dosnt say a word either, she is probably thinking too. I drive back to the office as fast as possible. When we get there we rush up directly to Nell and Eric and tell them what Vance told us. "We'll try and see if we can locate the Washignton Jimmy" says Nell. We nod and go down to tell Hetty and of course she already knew. How? I don't know. We go to our desks and look through some papers the doctor gave us. Minutes later Sam and Callen arrive. " We didn't find anything, again" Sam says fustrated. Callen opens his mouth to say something but gets interrupted by Hetty.
"You all need to go home. It's an order. You've been working 36 hours straight and now you need to get some rest and there's no arguing about that" We all nod. "Mr.Deeks you're not safe alone so you will go home with Ms. Byle if that's ok with her, we don't want anything to happen to you Mr. Deeks" she tells me. Kensi smiles "it's alright with me" she says. I smile and we go off.
We arrive at Kensi's place. It's small and it really needs to get cleaned. "You can take anything to eat for the kitchen and I'll sleep on the couch" she says. "Oh no ill sleep on the couch" I can tell she's tierd and all she wants to do is sleep, like me. She nods and comes up real close to me "good night deeks" she whispers and plants a kiss on my cheek. "Goodnight" I reply. I smile to myself. I get myself a blanket and get comfy on the couch even though it's hard. I smile again, thinking of Kensi and then I fall asleep slowly drifting into sweet dreams.
