chapter 16:
(deeks point of view)
Kensi and I just sat there and stared into nothing for a very long time without saying a word. Dinozzo was walking in circles talking to himslef and evey few minutes he would bang his head against the wall. It had been about 4 hours since we had been locked up and I couldnt take it anymore, i was tierd hungry and it was becoming hard to breathe. Kensi was still resting her head on my shoulder. "They will come eventually dont worry, they know where we went and im sure theyll find the trap, im sure of it" I reassure them even though im not sure at all. Dinozzo eventually sits down on the otherside of us and rests his head agaisnt the walls and closes his eyes. After a couple more hours of no talking just staring into nothing Kensi falls asleep and so does Dinozzo, I eventually fall asleep too.
I wake up alsmot 15 hours later, both Kensi and Dinozzo are still asleep. Im starving, my stomach is making loud growling noises and im dyhydrated. We wont survive much longer without water. After a couple of minutes Kensi wakes up " hey" i say, "hey" she replies. I try to smile but i musnt have looked very convincing because she dosnt smile back she just looks away. " I think we should go check at the end of the hallway where all the masks are we might find some food or water we never know" she tells me. I nod and get up. Dinozzo wakes up and we tell him where were going, he nods and falls back asleep directly. We walk in silence, we walk for about 5 minutes until we reach the place with the masks. At first we just look at the masks but then we start searching around for food or water but nothing. Kensi sits down, we are so weak we can barely stand up for more then 10 minutes. "Deeks, I really dont want to die now, or in this way" she tells me. I come and sit next to her. "Me too Kens, me too" "You know Deeks, im pretty sure we're going to die here, in like two days because we cant live without water for more then four days and its already been two days,so i just wanted to tell you that...that...i love you Deeks and i've loved you for a very long time" a tear slips down her cheek and she about to open her mouth to say more but i just press my lips against hers. " I love you too fern" i tell her. She smiles at me and we kiss again. We decide to go back to tell DInozzo that we didnt find anything. We walk hand in the the whole way. When we arrive there Dinozzo is lying flat on the ground. I let go of Kensi's hand and run towards him. "Dinozzo" I say, no anwser I shake him and shake him more and then I hear Kensi scream I turn around and shes knocked out on the floor I dont even have time to move that something hits me in the back of my head and my world goes complely black.
