He came.
He said he wanted to skip school on that day, but he didn't.
So many questions came into my mind, like
Why did he suddenly decide to come? Is it because he knew I was performing so he came to watch? Is there any other reasons why he came, or because he just wanted to, sigh.
I saw him play the game, I saw him stressed out that they didn't score, I saw him lift his shirt to clean off the sweat on his face, I saw him annoyed when they scored a point, I saw him on that day he said he wouldn't wanna come.
But I didn't see him when I performed, I didn't get to look at him directly in the eye, I knew he was sitting at the back and I wanted to smile and say; bless the boy who made me proud. I grinned not because everyone clapped for me when I hit that high note but because a little bird told me that he cheered to the song, he sang, he clapped but not to the others. It doesn't matter even if he was clapping during that one chorus only, but oh gosh, even the small things he does makes you happy.
The performance went in a blur, 3 minutes was up and we could head back to our classes or continue staying there up backstage. Definitely wanting to see him, I went back down.
Later in the evening, I was texting that little bird:
[01/09 6:00 pm ] little bird: Good job for today!
[01/09 6:04 pm] me: yayzie thanks! Did he say anything to you?
[01/09 6:11 pm] little bird:
Hmm he just watched you sing and clapped afterwards, then when you were in front of him singing like crazy he laughed.
[01/09 6:15 pm] me: wah I thought he was watching show not me and ( friend ) oh my gosh
[01/09 6:17 pm] little bird: that's why!!
in front of him sing like crazy he laughed:
After my performance there were other performances still, so we ( friend& i ) decided to join back the class and just nice there was an area right in front of him. ( it was truly and accident bless me )
They played like flashlight and other songs which apparently we where we laughing at some private jokes heh ( if you're reading this pls don't yknow.. ) so I laughed and sang along like some festival and I didn't know he was watching me from the back? Oh well.
But we'll figure out something, right? Yeah, we will.
