Never Let Go

Chapter 40

We were siting down all together at our breakfast table.

"I can't eat no more" Ruby said

"Does that mean" i said

"Go ahead" she said as she pushes her plate towards me

"Yeah guys I left my phone in the room so I'll be back" Brennen said

I swear down this boy never keeps his phone with him anyway.

We talked a lot about everything for a bit

"So Tia what's up with you and Brennen" Jake said

" I don't know what you're talking about" I said innocently

"Come on no need to lie" he said

"Talking about Brennen he had been gone for a long time I'll go check on him" I said as I stood up

"You can't run away from this conversation"

"At least I can try to" I said and walked off

I take the elevator up and walked down the hallway

I knocked on the boys room but nobody answered.
So I opened the door and froze.

I saw Brennen kissing a girl.

They both saw me.

"Tee it's not what it looks like"

"Don't lie to her Brennen"

I walked off as I felt a wash of deja vu but before I exit the room I turned around.

"Good to see you again grace" than I quickly walked away still hearing my name in the distance.

I locked myself I my room

I need to process what I just saw.

I heard knocking on the door I didn't answer because I knew who it was.

"Tia please open the door" Brennen said

As I heard his voice it finally hit me  and tears slowly rolled down my cheek.

He kept on shouting my name but I didn't respond.

I got my phone with headphones and laid down on my bed. I played my favourite song By night by Sophie Hutchings and put the volume up until I could no longer hear Brennen voice but the music.

And than that's when all the tears run loose.

I went to get my phone for some reason I left my phone in my room.

Anyway I got there and the whole time Tia was on my mind. But in a good way.

"Hey Brennen" a voice from behind me spoke

I turned around

"You need to stop calling me and how did you find me"

"As that girl whoever she is answered my call I tracked down the call"
