Chapter 31

It was lunchtime and I was at my locker putting some of my books away.

"We need to talk"

"Tee we.."

"I heard you the first time" I still didn't turn towards him until I locked my locker

"What do want Ben"

"To talk" he said as I looked around

"Ok you got 5 minutes"

"I just want to say sorry"

You see the nice part of me would say its ok I forgive you but the other part of me is saying I will never forgive you.

"Isn't a bit late to say sorry"

"Well I wasn't in for the first week after we broke up than after that I knew you wouldn't talk to me"

"How bad was the fight"

"I had a black eye and a bloody nose thanks to your boyfriend"

"Brennen isn't my boyfriend"

"Well than he really likes you"

"Why would you say that?"

"Because of the fight"

"Just because he defended me doesn't mean that he likes me"

"It's not just that"

"Than what is it"

"Well at the beginning of the year I noticed that he talked about you a bit but I didn't care and than we started dating he came up to me and said that you deserve someone better than me"

"That doesn't really prove anything"

"And the fight Brennen was the one to actually start it as he came up to me and was pissed"

"But.. I don't believe you"

"If you don't believe me than ask your precious boyfriend"

I heard my name and turned to see Ruby and Alli in the distance. I turned back to see that Ben was gone. I just stood there trying to process what Ben said.

What he said was it even true. I know he wouldn't lie to me about the fight but than why did Brennen lie to me.

We were sitting down in the courtyard on a table under a tree.

"Guys"

"Yeah" they both said in sync

"Can I ask you guys something"

"You know you can tell us anything" Ruby said

"Ok than. I wanted to ask how come Alexa wanted Ben not Brennen"

"What do you mean" Alli asked

"Brennen is the most popular guy in this school but Alexa.."

"oh it get it now" Alli said

"Alexa didn't even try because Brennen doesn't like girls like her and he doesn't even date" Ruby said

"He doesn't even have any girls number in this school but you which means that he must really like you" Alli said.

"Oh thanks guys but how did you find out he has my phone number"

"Word spread around I guess why do you think people are always talking about you"

"Or why do you think Alexa calms so much that you don't get what you want"

"So this is all because a boy has my number"

"No because you have the most untouchable boy in the school"

"I don't have him"

"You know you to a basically a thing now"

"Whatever"

I don't even know what to think.

Well I don't like Brennen well I don't even know because even sometimes he can even make me nervous.

Anyway I don't think I do, yes he is a good person, sweet, kind, funny, cute like really cute like have you seen his eyes.

Alli and I were walking to the apartment. And I kept on thinking of what Ben said.

"Tee what's up with you"

"Nothing I'm fine"

"Well your thinking of something and it's troubling you"

"Ok than I'll tell you"

"Great so what's up with you than"

"Do you know how the fight between Brennen and Ben started?"

"Can you promise not to tell anyone this"

"Promise"

"Especially brennen"

"I promise just tell me please"

"Basically the fight actually started with Brennen yelling at Ben and brennen was pissed like really pissed and than punched Ben in the face"

I tried to process the information

"So why did Brennen lie to me"

"Are you actually being serious"

"What"

"You really don't know why"

"Yeah that's why I asked you"

"Brennen likes you and doesn't want you to know"
