Valentina Redmayne, also known as Baby Valentine or the Messenger, is a former priest's daughter who was believed to be saved by the Joker and Harley Quinn. She was renamed Valentine soon after being rescued from rubble by them. She then entered into a relationship with the Joker and Harley Quinn and took to a life of crime.
Valentine was later on captured by the Batman, along with Quinn, and put into Belle Reve, a black site. She later on was broken out by Quinn and the Joker.
She was a member of the Suicide Squad.

Personality: Valentine was once a quiet and meek young woman, who was frightened of her step-brother. However after being saved by the Joker and Quinn, she devoted herself to the Joker, believing him to be God, and affectionately calling him daddy. She also has a deep love and obsession for both him and Harley Quinn, as well as being lethally violent when they are threatened and loyal to them.
She was transformed into Valentine through the manipulation and good will of the duo. Her mind and emotions were twisted and she was made into a apathetic, homicidal, sadistic, manipulative, psychopathic killer. She often uses her childlike innocence and mind to get what she wants and manipulate others to do her bidding for her. More than once has she used her sexuality to achieve her goals or to entertain herself, more than often harming others in the process, expressing sadistic joy in this.
Valentine is shown to have a little childish caution at times, yet lacks basic fear, mixed with a dark sense of humor. With the team and those she likes, she is shown to be quite nice. Waller stated that she is the saner of trio. When off her medication, Valentine can have severe mood swings that can range from docile to violent.

Abilities: Expert in acrobatics/parkour- Valentine is shown to be an expert in acrobatics and parkour, being able to jump between buildings and doge fairly easily. She is also is shown to be a skillful pole dancer.
Master in hand to hand combat- Trained by the Joker and Harley in various styles, Valentine is shown to be lethal in combat especially when threatened. She is shown to be able to take down various guards as well as other assailants.
Expert marksman- She is skilled in wielding guns and knives, and is able to hit a target from far away. She is a highly skilled knife wielder being able to use them in close combat and at long range.
Expert whip wielder- Valentine show proficient skills with wielding a chain, that being her signature weapon. She is quick to use as her priority weapon when she, Quinn or the Joker are threatened. While on the mission to stop Enchantress, she used the whip on Katana before calming down.
Master manipulator/deception- Valentine has shown to be skilled in manipulation, preying often on peoples desires or fears. She is a skilled liar, being able to lie to someones face without so much as blinking. More often then not does she use her sexuality and innocence as a way of getting people to do or act how she wants.

Bio: Early life- Valentine was born a few miles outside of Metrapolis, near the small town of Smallville. Her father died at a young age and her mother remarried a preacher, named Mr. Bell. She lived with them, and her older step-brother, James, having a peaceful and quiet life. However nothing was as it seemed.
When Valentine was seventeen her step-brother began to abuse her and she found herself wavering. She went to step-father and mother, however they wouldn't believe her and claimed she was a bad girl. A year passed, and soon after during a private church ceremony the Joker, Harley Quinn and their gang blew it up, only saving Valentine. After this she completely devoted herself to the Joker, Quinn, and a life of crime- committing several heinous acts, including murdering Jason Todd aka Robin.
After years of crime, one night when the Joker was doing business in his club with a gangster called Monster T, the man took a shine to her and Harley while dancing. The Joker called them over and claimed they were gifts to him, before shooting him dead. After the club they went on date and were driving the Joker's car when Batman arrived, chasing after them in the Batmobile. The Bat jumped on to the roof of the car, with Harley trying to kill him, claiming he was ruining date night. When they came near the river, the Joker drove straight for it crashing it into the water, with Batman using his to escape. Valentine was rescued with Harley by Batman who captured her and placed her into prison, whilst the Joker escaped.
Soon after she and Harley were both moved to Belle Reve, a black site in Louisiana, where the worst criminals go. Due to her nature she and Harley were placed in separate cells, with electrified fences, within the same enclosure. During their time in Belle Reve they were tortured by the guards, specifically Griggs, who had a strange fascination with them.
