~*~*~

The air in the car was hot and stuffy.

It's been a week since the war, and most people were recovering from wounds. Right now, Dad was driving me to the hospital where Sebastian was. I convinced him yesterday that since I found him and no one else cared, that I should be the one to see him. He agreed against his own will, according to him. Since Beth's been gone, he's been more protective over me. He was before, but now he won't let me got to school without Jonathan walking  me there and back. I've told Dad that he has nothing to worry about, since that I'm not the next heir, he should be worried about Jonathan. Not me. But he doesn't listen.

Parking in front of the hospital, Dad turned to me.

"Don't be in there too long, or I'll send someone up to get you."

I turned around in my seat seeing two cars identical to ours drive and park next to us.

I sighed. "An hour at the most." I said stepping out into the cold air outside. I much preferred the cold air to the warm.

"Thirty minutes." He said facing towards the front again.

"Dad." I breathed out a huff before closing the door and leaning in through the window. "I saved him. An hour. If I'm not out by then, then send some people in. Okay?"

He stayed silent for a while before running a hand through his black hair. He's washed it so many times since that fight, but I could still see some blood. "Fine."

I smiled and walked off towards the building.

Watching my hair flow in the breeze from the mirrored window, I realised how much I looked like Dad. I had the same colour hair as his, and the same type of cheeks. I had my eyes from my Mum and most of my face structure from hers. Jonathan was opposite to me. Blond hair like Mum and brown eyes like Dad.

I stepped into the hospital and let the cold blow of air on hit me. It was bitter cold and I shivered a bit before walking up to the male receptionist.

"How can I help you?" He asked with his eyes darting up and down my body. I blushed. I had that reaction from a lot of guys, not as much as Beth. But I did get some.

I cleared my throat looking at his name tag.

Bert.

"I'm looking for Sebastian, Bert. I brought him in about a week ago?"

Bert seemed to think for a minute before something clicked. "Ah yes, the young man. Poor guy. He should've have survived that. Terrible thing. He doesn't even remember what happened. Poor thing-"

I didn't need to hear this. "Alright, just .. Tell me where he is, please." I said interrupting him. I didn't need to start crying again.

I've been crying since the war. Between my sisters death and how well Sebastian is coping. Mum tried cheering me up, but I'd never smile. Not until Dad agreed to take me here to see him.

"Yes. Take the lift, up to level two and go into room number 208."

I smiled. "Thank you."

Rushing over to the lift I pressed the up button and waited for the doors to open. The lift came quicker than I thought. Just as I was about to take a step inside, someone rushed out pushing me over. All I caught was the grey of his hair and his black shoes marked with the word, OOze.

"Watch where you're going!" I called out to him. He didn't even turn around to apologise or say anything as he ran out the door.

"Idiot." I breathed under my breath and stepped into the lift with a woman.
