Matched For Life

Heaps of fish in the sea.

For the next couple of weeks, I continued to visit Sebastian. Everyday, he'd be depressed, but as soon as I walked through the door, all would be lost. A smile would light up his face and sparkles would flood his eyes. 

I loved making him feel happy. The more time I spend with him, the more that I get to know him. And I defiantly wanted to know him. I don't know what I felt towards him. It wasn't like we were friends, and I doubt we will ever be. he came from another pack. I could tell from the amazing smell of Vanilla and honey that he didn't come from ours. 

I've never met any other wolf that produces that kind of scent. That mouth watering, demanding, amazing smell.

Right now, I was sitting across from Sebastian playing 'Go Fish'. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun playing this game.  The last time I played, I was about, seven? Anyway, I got so angry, that my wolf took over my body and everyone in my class ran. That was the first time I changed. I was one of the earliest to change. Normally we start changing into our wolves when we're ten, but I was an early one. Like I am in everything else. 

Everyone was so scared of me, that we had t move the whole pack to another part of the country so no one could track us down. That's where we are now. Never have that day, have I played any games. 

"Go fish!" I called giving Sebastian an evil smile. Sebastian sighed, picking up a card from the pile. I've always thought of it as a lake. Where we'd fish and pick up a fish on our every turn. 

"Got any, kings?" I asked him eyeing on of his cards which I was convinced was a king. 

"Go fish." He said lightly smiling at my hand of cards. I swiftly picked up another card and sighed. An eight. Another card that I'd have to hold on to until i get another eight. Unless he has one-  

"Do you have, a seven?" 

My eyes flew to my seven of hearts, there goes another one to him. I opened my mouth to sigh and call him a cheater, but he added in. "I believe a seven of hearts?" I gave him a flat look and passed him the card. How was he so good? Maybe there's a mirror behind me or something. Cheater. 

I bit my lip, looking at him from the corner of my eye. "Do you have, a-"

"Sebastian!"

I was interrupted by a high pitched voice that made me wince.  How can a voice even be that high? I doubt it's from another wolf, it'd hurt their ears too. 

Sebastian looked towards the door and dropped his cards. I saw a few queens and an eight that I wanted dropped onto his white blanket.  Something, I don't know what yet, came running  into his arms and pressed against his lips. I froze out of the sight of shock and stood walking backwards up against the wall. Only one thought ran through my mind, He has a girlfriend? How else was I going to explain the red head lying on top of his with her arms around his neck and lips pressed against his? A sister? No way. Cousin? No. Mother? I meet her a week ago, and she didn't look like that. 

Sebastian pushed her back. "Lu-Lucy? What are you doing here?" His eyes flickered between hers and mine. I felt something inside me boil. Something that told me to rip this girl into pieces. I wanted her to die, right here in front of me for even touching him. 

"They couldn't keep me away," she said in her annoying voice. 

My fits clenched at my sides, and my breathing became ragged. I could feel my inner wolf begging to come out, to rip this girl to pieces. The reason? I have no idea. I was totally clueless to what I was feeling. 

"I-I, what are you doing here?" He asked again. 

Lucy rolled her eyes and buried her head in his neck. "I was so worried about you." She whispered, with tears rolling down her cheeks. Wow, she really was putting on a performance. Wait. What am I saying? This girl could be really nice. Am I seriously judging her because she came running in the middle of Sebastian's and my game? I did have an evil bone in me.
