After being in the infirmary for four days straight I was finally released that night and sent directly back to my cell, a guard in tow.

It was pitch black. All the other prisoners had been sent back to their cells hours ago according to the medic and in six hours we'd be getting up for breakfast.

I sighed as the guard opened the door to my cell.

Slowly I stepped inside. The door harshly shut behind me, causing me to flinch at the force.

I stepped over to my bed and slowly lay back down. I closed my eyes and allowed myself to rest.

What felt like minutes of sleep had been hours. I was forcefully awoke by the door to my cell being opened and the shuffling of inmates feet.

I let out a small sigh as I groggily sat back up. I know that resting was a big thing but having to go back to my regular routine after being sick made me feel worse. Plus at some point when I had been out the put handcuffs on me just as a precaution.

My wrist was bandaged up from the scrapes the handcuff gave me but it didn't make life any easier.

I threw my legs over the side of the bed and pushed myself up. The guard watched me intently as I made my way down the hallway.

Breakfast time I guess.

I followed the mass of people, loud and rambunctious, too much for this time of the morning.

The doors to the mess hall opened and immediately women went and grabbed their trays of food.

I followed them, situating myself in line. I felt good enough to eat a little but not much, only enough to sustain myself. Nothing more and nothing less.

I grabbed my tray and waited as the line slowly moved forward. "Princess you're finally back!" I turned and saw Prince Charming yelling to me from across the cafeteria.

People began to stare strangely at me. I inwardly groaned as I put my head down and kept moving forward with the line. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him grab a tray. And for a moment I thought I was safe. That is, until he pushed his way through the line.

Inmates began to swear and yell at him as he made his way to me.

I lowered my head even more.

"I haven't seen you in forever Silent Princess. How are you feeling?" I shrugged as I stepped forward.

"You're really still not sure?" I nodded.

People glared but mostly began to go back to their own business. I let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness.

"Wow you really not know much about yourself." I nodded. Not anymore. And not about anyone around me either.

"Alright then. But you're going to get a lot of food if you like it or not." My face scrunched up in disgust and he let out a chuckle. "Alright, not a lot but enough."

I nodded. That was as close as I was going to get apparently.

Mr.Charming grabbed my tray from my fingers and slid both of them across the metal tray table. He filled both of them with food, mine more then necessary, before he finally handed mine back to me.

We both grabbed our water before we made our way to our usual table.

All this guy did was talk and talk and talk at me while I tried to eat the food that he set in front of me. I barely ate half when I pushed the tray across the table towards him.

"Oh come on, you need to eat."

I shook my head. "I ate enough." I replied, my voice scratchy as always as I picked up my glass and drank some water.

There was silence for a few moments, both of us going back into our own thoughts.

"You know I missed talking to you. No else really talks to me here." He said suddenly. I looked up from my glass and met his eyes. "You're the only person who listens. But then again, you don't really talk to stop me." He looked down.

"I don't mind." I coughed slightly as I picked up the glass and drank some more.

"You don't?" I nodded.

I actually didn't mind. He was the only friend that I could say that I had here or anywhere. I was framed for murder after all. In here I was lucky I hadn't made enemies. Out there everyone would be scared of me.

A smile spread across his face.

"Well hi there! I'm Max. Max Sheffield." He said as he extended his hand for me to shake.

"I'm Theresa Dean" I replied quietly as I shook his hand, a small smile on my face.

"It's nice to finally get the name of the princess." He said with a wink.

I rolled my eyes as he began to laugh.
