It was just a normal day for you in Magnolia. You had recently taken a nice not shower and for once was relaxed.

Your visitors from Hargeon had left not too long ago and you planned on tidying up the place before anyone else decided to crash at your place.

Suddenly, you heard a knock at the door. Sighing, you went to the door and opened it up.

"HAVE YOU SEEN FROSCH?!"

Bewildered by the stranger's hasty attitude, you paused for a moment in shock.

"Frosch? Who's that?" You asked calmly, unlike your uninvited guest.

"YOU KNOW! FROSCH! THE CUTEST THING TO HAVE EVER LIVED! HE'S MY BEST FRIEND! PLEASE YOU HAVE TO H-"

"Calm down calm down." You stated with a small smile. Without even thinking, the next few words escaped from your lips. "I'll help."

The man let out a quick sigh of relief. His chest still heaved at an alarming rate. The Frosch obviously meant a lot to him, and you selflessly offered your help. His jet black hose swept over one side of his face, only revealing one of his eyes. You found this feature intriguing, and almost stared at him for too long.

"Can you describe him?" You asked thoughtfully.

The handsome stranger opened his mouth to speak, but he quickly clenched his jaw. As you were about to question him, the dark haired man grabbed your hand running, causing to you helplessly followed.

"Wait! I didn't shut the door!" You yelled while laughing.

"We don't have time! We've got to find Frosch!" He yelled back passionately.

He slowed down his pace, allowing you to catch up. As you looked at your hand, you noticed his iron grip still clutching onto you. His strength didn't scare you one bit. You knew he did it out of fear of not being able to find his friend, and you found it flattering that he chose to express his worries to you with physical touch.

The two of you jogged through town until you came across a rather large building.

"This is my guild, Sabertooth. I've got a picture of Frosch in here." His voice was softer and much gentler this time, but there was also solemnity in it. Placing a hand on his shoulder, you gave him a reassuring smile.

Suddenly, you took off sprinting into the building, forcing him to follow since he still tightly held your hand. The stranger was caught off guard and wore a look of confusion.

With a brimming smile, you looked back at him. "We don't have time to wait around! Let's go find your friend."

He returned a soft expression, one you had never witnessed before. It was full of appreciation, admiration, and something else, something you didn't quite understand...

"Right." He replied and nodded his head in agreement.

The two of you continued taking off, beginning your official quest to find Frosch. And although you two were merely strangers to each other, you knew that a strong bond had already blossomed.
