"That bastard," you scoffed. "He never keeps up his end of the deal. Can't believe I expected him to this time."

You kicked the dirt in annoyance as you exited the large building. Since you were a mercenary, you were used to traveling and seeing grand sights. This building was no different than the last one you had to go to.

"I was promised 5,000 jewel, and what do I get?" You continued to mumble yourself. "I get a shove out the door!" No longer being able to contain your rage, you threw a flying punch towards the nearest wall.

"Calm down there, princess. No need to be so upset." You turned around to see a young man in a black suit behind you, his black shades covering his eyes. You simply scoffed. "Stay out of my business."

The man behind you chuckled lightheartedly, adding to your annoyance. "Look, unless you're offering me a job, then buzz off!" You shouted angrily. However, despite your best effort to push him away, he seemed unaffected by your outburst.

His smooth voice cut the silence. "Well then, consider yourself employed."

Being completely confused, you questioned him. "Huh? What do you mean? What job do you want me to do?" The man seemed to be amused by your cluelessness. A mischievous, slight smirk washed across his face.

"I want you to fall in love with me."

Feeling yourself go red, you abruptly broke your eye contact. "I have no time for such stupid jobs! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go look for real jobs-"

You were cut off as a pair of gentle arms wrapped around you. Not knowing how to react or what to say, you remained silent, allowing his warmth to embrace you.

However, before you could truly enjoy the moment, he broke the contact between you.

"Now then," the orange haired man started off. "My name is Loke, and currently, I'm your new employer."

Before you could laugh at his boldness, Loke took off his sunglasses you looked you dead in the eye.

"Ready to take the job?"
