"You have no idea where you're going, do you?" Sokka asked, looking at a map.

"Well, I know it's near water," Aang said sheepishly.

Sokka rolled his eyes. "I guess we're getting close, then," he said sarcastically. I glared at him but continued looking out at the water.

"Momo, marbles, please," my best friend said. "Hey, Katara! Check out this cool airbending trick," he said. I felt jealous. Why would he show her and not me? I'm his best friend, not her.

"That's great, Aang," she said, not looking up. At least I looked. I scoffed.

"Don't even waste your time," I muttered jealously

"You didn't even look," Aang said disappointedly.

Katara looks up. "That's great," she repeated. He wasn't even doing it!

"But I'm not doing it now," my friend said sadly. I walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I saw the trick, Aang. It was cool! Miss Sugar Queen over there just doesn't want to pay attention," I said comforting him. Katara glared at me, to which I returned happily.

"Stop bugging her, airhead. You need to give girls space when they do their sewing," Sokka said. My eye twitched at the boy's comment.

Katara looked at her brother accusingly. "What do I being a girl have to do with sewing?" she asked. The same question was on my mind.

"Simple. Girls are better at fixing pants than guys, and guys are better at hunting and fighting and stuff like that. It's just the natural order of things," Sokka said.

I was angry now. If I wasn't trying to keep my secret, I would've already fried his butt. "I'm very good at hunting and fighting. Wanna try me?" I asked, holding up my palm as a mini-tornado began to form. He chuckled nervously.

"All done with your pants, and look at what a great job I did," Katara said sarcastically, throwing her brother's unfinished pants at him. I giggled.

Sokka panicked. "Wait! I was just kidding! I can't wear these! Katara, please!" he pleaded.

"Relax, Sokka," Aang began.

"Where we're going, you won't need any pants," I finished for him.

Appa glided down. I knew Aang was taking us to Kyoshi Island. We got off of Appa, and, immediately, Aang stripped into his undergarments. I just laid on the sand and watched as he ran into the water. He startled me when he jumped up all of a sudden. "Cold!" he exclaimed. Once he got settled in the water, he yelled, "Katara, Naomi, you gotta watch me!"

"Have fun riding Elephant Koi!" I yelled back to him with a small laugh. He dived underwater. I sat up from where I was sitting. When he came back up, he was riding Elephant Koi. Katara's eyes widened.

"Aang! Get out of there!" Katara yelled as she ran towards the water, waving her hands around. Aang looked at her and waved. I saw a gigantic fish under the Koi. The Unagi!

The Unagi pounced on Aang.

I bite my lip as I remember what happened next. My son hugs my leg and smiles up at me. I grin down at him. "Your father was and is a very brave man. Even when something as terrible as the Unagi attacks him, he always goes on smiling."

Aang was on the ground with Katara bending the water out of his lungs. "What was that thing?" she asked him once he was fine.
