"After everything that had happened with Hei Bai and Roku, we had finally had a day where Katara could teach Aang waterbending," I say.
Aang sits down beside me and wraps his arm around my waist. "Oh, yeah. Katara got jealous because I surpassed her in everything I did," he says with a small laugh. "She stole a waterbending scroll which got pirates involved."
I hum and nod my head. "Zuko made the pirates a deal. If they captured us, he would return them their scroll. Thankfully, we got away," I say. I stand up and stretch. "How about you three go and ask Uncle Sokka to teach you how to through a boomerang," I say with a giggle.
Aang watch fondly as our three children scramble about calling for 'Uncle Sokka'.
Aang stands up beside me and kisses my cheek softly. "My love, we have the day to ourselves. How about a date?" he asks.
I grin. "Is dancing involved?" I ask excitedly.
He smiles and nods. "Of course," he says. He grabs my hand and squeezes it. "Let's head out."
Aang and I walk along the streets. We could hear a small commotion, but we knew it was only Katara and Sokka. "They're still fighting," I say with a laugh.
"As sexist as Sokka can be, I'm not surprised at all," Aang says.
We reach the small tea shop. "Hey, Nao!" Neo says loudly. My twin smiles brightly.
I wave slightly. "Are you here alone?" I ask.
Neo sighs sadly. "Yeah. Zuko is back in the Fire Nation. Something came up," she says. She rolls her eyes and pouts. "He's never around anymore."
Aang and I sit at the bar. Aang smiles at her sympathetically. "Zuko is the Fire Lord. He can't be here all the time, you know," he says softly.
Neo frowns but nods.
"Have you thought about moving to the Fire Nation? I'm sure Zuko and Kuzo would like that," I say.
Neo shakes her head. "I can't leave you, Naomi," she says sternly.
I glare at her. "And you can't leave your husband and daughter," I say.
She bites her lip and looks away. "Izumi is just fine with her father and her father alone. She doesn't need me," she says.
I scoff. "Is that really what you think?" I jump in shock. I look behind me.
Zuko stands there with his arms crossed. Izumi stands at his side. Neo's husband glares at her darkly.
Aang grabs my hand. "Let's give them som privacy," he mutters to me. I nod in agreement.
We hurry out of the tea shop. We both let out a breath. "Hey, let's go to the lake," I say.
We walk hand in hand to the beautiful lake underneath a tall tree. We sit under the shade of the tree. Aang lays his head on my lap and closes his eyes. I trace his facial features. I lean down and kiss his forehead. "I love you, Omi," he says.
He opens his eyes and looks up at me with nothing but love. I kiss his lips softly. "I love you too, Aang."
