I woke up confused and tired, I keep falling asleep on the couch and it's so uncomfortable. I need to learn how to stop being lazy and walk back to my room
"Why do you keep sleeping on the couch?" Emily laughed
"I FaceTime Grayson every night and I just fall asleep there by accident" I explain
"Alright well I'm going home to shower and shit, Oh and there's a party tonight with kids from school, wanna go?" she asks while half way out the door
"Yeah sure I haven't seen anyone in forever" I exaggerate

My phone got a notification from messages, it was Grayson

I threw my phone on the couch and ran up to my room to start getting ready for the party

"You ready?" Emily asked as we walked into the house
I saw familiar faces everywhere, most people smiled at me, I didn't have a lot of enemies at my school
"I'll go get us drinks" Emily said walking away
I scanned the room but stopped when I saw who was walking towards me

"I'm not your baby, we broke up 4 months ago" I roll my eyes
