Your pov

Today was the day that Jack would finally be coming home after spending nearly three months in the hospital and one in the rehabilitation center.

I spent nearly everyday at his bedside after his accident, but that didn't change anything.

He was still forgetful when it came to me.

For some reason, it was easier for him to remember a few of his friends than me.

I saw his car pull into the driveway, so I hurried to get rid of my tears.

His parents were helping him since he still struggled here and there.

"Who's house is this?"

I heard Jack ask.

"Yours and (Y/n)'s."

His father sighed.

"Who's (Y/n)?"

"Your fiancé, who happened to be there at the hospital everyday."

They made it to the front door.

His parents looked extremely exhausted.

"I'm tired." Jack said.

"(Y/n), I'm going to get him settled for a nap."

"That's fine." I weakly smiled at John, in which he returned.

His mom looked at me with sorrow in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry, Hun."

John and Jennifer had been there for me since the accident.

They developed a great understanding that I genuinely love and care for their son.

I would do anything for him.

Luckily I have a close bond with Jack's parents and brother.

Jeff had flown back home after being here in California for nearly a month.

"He's asleep."
