I know I don't update this book this book that much, but those updates will be even more reduced since I start school tomorrow...

But this is a treat... I love this chapter!

You sat with Robert eating your excuse of a meal. It was a special day, however, since there was something that you could call cake. It was sweet at least.

Robert had his hand in yours, "What's on your mind, Sugar?"

"Nothing... Why do you ask?" You set down your plate.

"You look troubled-"

"Oh-I-" "Don't lie to me," he tightened his grip on your hand.

"Do you remember James? Or Bucky Barnes, from school?"

"Yes..." He spoke hesitantly.

"He's here, at this camp... I just- it's only bringing back some unwanted memories..."

"What did he do?"

"Nothing!" his death grip on you make you squeal, "He thinks you're hurting me, but I know it's not bad and-"

"I don't hurt you!"

"Of course not! I just upset you and-"

"Don't say that! I don't hurt you!" he shouted at you. You immediatly thanked yourself for sitting in such a populated part of the camp, "Sugar, you and I are going to spend some time together tonight... how's that sound? you and me- alone... Away from all these soldier's eyes?"

"I actually have to work tonight-"

"That's a lie, it's thursday, it's that other chick's day."

"Oh, I forgot, sorry. Sure. I'll be there."

"Promise me? And come alone. It's date night, I don't want any distractions..."

"Alright, Robert. I've got to go- I love you-" you called picking your plate up and throwing it in the trash.

***

"James?" You called into the medical tent.

"(Y/N)-" he smiled sitting up.

"No, no, stay down. You aren't completely ready to be up quite yet- your stitches-"

"What's gotten into you? Yesterday you were walking me around the camp, did something happen?"

You sighed, "I really need you to pretend like you're still hurt," his confusion made you restate that, "We need to talk... I need some help. I need you to pretend like you've popped a stitch or something," his confused face hadn't really changed, "You have to swear not to tell anyone. Robert wants to be alone tonight. And you're right, but you're the only one that knows, so please help me."

"So he has hurt you?"

"I-I never said that..."

"You didn't have to."

"Please, don't tell."

"Here's the plan. I'll ome outside, then I'll follow you to him and pretend I need a doctor, you'll follow me back -here?"

"Thank you," you sighed as his hand took yours.

"It'll be okay."

***

You sat with Robert, his arms around you, "I feel like we haven't been alone since we were at home!"

"Yeah," you mumbled a little tense.

"Now you're going to explain why Bucky knows about your punishments?"

"He saw me at school. I told him it was nothing- please I didn't mean to-" You leaned back, but his hand was already in the air. Bucky somehow made his way out of the bushes he was hiding in and grabbed his arm before turning him around and punching him straight across his face.

"James!" you shouted trying to pull him away.

"What on earth?! Bucky?" Robert called wiping the blood off of his cheek.

"Don't you dare hit her... ever again!"

"Who do you think you are? Don't get in out business again!"

"James, this wasn't' the pan!"

"Plan?!" Robert looked back at you, "You had a plan? With him?" Again he turned to Bucky while throwing another punch. Soon both boys were on the floor bleeding and shouting. You tried to pull them off of eachother, but failed.

Finally you got more men to break them up.

***

You and Bucky sat like children waiting fro the principle. Robert was receiving disciplinary actions now.

Your hands fidgeted, but Bucky's hand took yours calming you slightly, "We're in so much trouble..."

"Doll, you'll be fine. You didn't do anything wrong. I'll accept my punishment, as long as you're okay. I'll be fine," he sighed, "I ask only one thing-"

"Anything-"

"Break up with Robert. I may be kicked out of camp and never see you again, but don't let him control you anymore.

Hesitantly you sighed, "Okay."

"Promise me that!"

"I promise..."

"Sergeant Barnes?" the man called from his office.

"Alright, Doll-" he paused for a moment. His hand still lingering on yours. Slowly he leaned his head down until you could feel his heart beating. His eyes not once leaving yours as his hands glided across your cheeks and bringing his lips onto yours. His eyes had finally closed, as did yours sharing a long awaited kiss. The moment he pulled back your body went into withdrawal. You mind was swimming with thoughts, and you didn't even realize he stepped away.

"Soldier?" you called once you regained consciousness, "Good luck- And I may have imagined tearing your shirt off in high school..."

He laughed as he walked into the room.
