Ever thought of helping someone, but became scared you'll be surpassed?

Does lifting someone up lift you up as well?

Even with Adrianna's help I got to know there are way cooler girls than she is, probably because I know more about them than her. But whichever the case there was something about her I just couldn't get my mind on.

Text Message: Adrianna

"Hey Buster, wanna come hang out after school?"

Buster: sure i'd love to.. Where?

Adrianna: at the library.

Buster: ok. Hope you are doing well..

Adrianna: Yah I am, thank you..yourself?

Buster: umm.. Forget I asked!

Adrianna: you can tell me anything.

Buster: umm I have a question!

Adrianna: sure whatever is on your mind.

Buster: why are you so caring? I mean I know it's not coincidence that made us friends. You knew about me way before we met in that classroom isn't it?

Adrianna: sure I did. It's what we do. By we, I mean me, and my girlfriends and a couple of guys. We just help people who cannot help themselves at a particular point in time.

Buster: Thats really thoughtful and amazing of you guys, but why do it?

Adrianna: To bring out the light hidden in people so they can see themselves as worthy of any course and not what society thinks of them and in return we attain happiness and make a lot of friends!

Buster: so umm, are you going to introduce me to your crew at the library or what?

Adrianna: Just come after school okay?

Buster: sure!

School today was a one time trip to the land of fun. Headed to the cafeteria to do what I do best, totally forgetting about the library.

I started drawing and
"OMG!",I thought. I instantly remembered to go to the library, because everything I do now is influenced by that girl. I quickly packed my stuff and left in a flash to the library where a group of students did their personal studies, some discussions, others project works and home works. Scanning the room from left to right I did not see anything unusual so I went further to see if I can spot her.
If someone told me I was unaware of my environment I'd have to agree, because just a sudden tap on my shoulder and I almost jumped out of reach but her voice was a quick follow up so I calmed down.

"Hey" she said, smiling.

"Hey whats up", I said, looking about me to see if I'd embarrassed myself.

"Sorry for scaring you, I honestly did not think you'll be that startled"

"(YOU SCARED THE SH*T OUT OF ME!!!) oh it's fine. I watch a lot of horror movies alone in the dark at midnight. I'm kind of used to it now"( Like she could believe that), I said.

"Did not seem like it but hey.. We're on the other side of the shelf between the study area and the discussion site.", she said, pointing to the place.

"Lets go ..Please lead the way",I said

"Sure follow my lead", she said.

*The Meeting*

Omg!!! These people are not those I thought they'd be. The girls were very beautiful, cute and hot, and the guys, muscular and good looking. I guess I must be good looking as well for me to be at least introduced to this group.

Adrianna: hey guys, this is Buster. The guy I told you about!(she placed her right hand over my neck)

Buster:(she told them about me? What does she know?..) nice to meet you,my name is.. I am called.. I use to be called.. Never mind we'll stick with hers.

Daisy: nice to meet you Buster.

Andrew: nice to meet you dude!

John: glad you're here man!

Beverly: pleased to meet you Buster!

And there was an awkward silence.

Adrianna broke the silence " Buster can you please tell us how our group has been of help to you and how you would want to contribute so other people who have been neglected can stand up all the time they fall"

"Sure I guess I can. Ok umm. I'm pretty sure everyone here knows I'm an unknown person in Parkinson's High School: because I'm always seen riding home alone and doing stuff on my own and even at times when my things fall down in the hallway, everyone just passes by without blinking an eye. I would say it's been a pretty rough journey from that place to here. I want to specially thank my dear friend Adrianna for noticing me, and making me know she was on my side. I felt loved, or liked in the least.", I said,"

The last straw that hit the camel's back was the second day she helped me realize why I drove people away. Why I disgusted people, and made them feel contempt. Everyone knows, people who are now good, have been bad once, and those times were their turning points.

I'm sure y'all have an idea how it feels when someone, even if a stranger, cares and understands you. It's really inspiring. I know I talk too much, but I'm really grateful to you,Adrianna. "You're the light of my world". Thank you!

Adrianna: Aww, you're so very welcome Buster.

Buster: if you guys still have one space
more for a member, I'd like to join, if you don't mind. It's such a great feeling, when people acknowledge you, and love you unconditionally. In Adrianna's case, I wonder how she is able to care for me, because she obviously knows very little about me.
I wish I could make others feel the same way.

They started whispering among themselves, but Adrianna was smiling at me. She walked toward me and said, " hey, let me walk you home."
