Lola's POV
"And open!" Calum said, removing the blindfold around my eyes.
We were on the stage with thousands and thousands of seats in front of us. The boys' instruments had already been set up and were waiting to be played to thousands later that day. Calum went over to the guitar stands and picked up two acoustic guitars. He handed me one and slung the strap round my neck loosely.
I learned to play guitar the same time as Luke but he'd always been better. I ran my fingers over the strings, it had been years since I'd played and didn't even know if I could still remember how too.
"Do you know Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars?" Calum asked me.
"Vaguely, I'll try." I replied blushing.
He strummed the first chord and I joined in. Somehow I managed to remember the whole song and he applauded me after wards.
"I feel like we've never had time to bond Lola." Calum said as he took the guitar from me.
"Well yeah, My brothers liked to pretend I was imaginary sometimes and only mum and dad could see me." I laughed.
"Well we've got loads in common." Calum told me.
I was starting to wonder where this was going. Did Calum like me?
"What like?" I replied simply.
"Well we both love dogs, we play guitar but Luke and Michael are better than us, we both have a connection with Ashton (I'm CASHTON af) and we both get annoyed at Luke."
"I don't know anyone who hasn't got annoyed at Luke to be honest." I replied giggling.
"Well would you, Lola Hemmings, do me the honour of becoming my best friend." Calum laughed as we walked down the steps of the stage.
"Yes!" Lola shouted/laughed. We hugged but fell over causing us to continue our laughter until we heard someone behind us.
"What the heck is going on here?!"
Calum's POV
I turned my head to see Michael sassily standing there with both hands on his hips and a serious face on.
"We fell over when we were trying to hug." Lola gasped in between laughs.
"Really?" Michael replied with an eyebrow raised.
"Yep." Lola said getting up.
"Whatcha doing here Michael?" I asked him.
"I'm looking for Luke." He flatly replied.
"Well he isn't here." I told him, picking myself up off the floor in the process.
"If you see him, tell him to meet me in the bus." Michael said whilst turning around to walk off the stage. "And don't worry guys, I didn't see anything." He added, winking with a smirk on his face.
I turned to face Lola and looked at the floor.
"Anyway..." (Picture above 😉) I played with my sleeves trying to think what to say now to Lola.
"So bestie do you want to get a McDonald's with me?" She asked.
"Race you to the cars." I laughed, jumping off the stage.
