I looked at him questionably. I couldn't tell if he was serious or not. Celebrities don't just go around telling people they are who they are.

"Seriously?" I ask.

"Well, yea. I know it's weird for me to just come out and say it but it seemed to fit the moment. I can prove it if you want."

"How?"

"Here, I'll tweet saying I'm at the doctors and I'm talking to a pretty girl."

I blush. "Ok. Do it." He types something then puts his phone down. My phone buzzes letting me know Liam Payne has tweeted. I look at the tweet and sure enough it read, At the doctors talking to a pretty girl.

I dropped my jaw in awe. I couldn't believe it, it's actually him.

"So what are you doing here at the doctors, if you don't mind me asking." I say.

"I started to have a sore throat and if anything goes wrong with my throat I have to have it checked out just in case something serious happens to my voice. And that would be bad."

"Yea it would. I'd be very disappointed."

"So are you a big fan?"

"Fan?" I scoff. "I'm a directioner."

"Ah. Really? What's uh... my middle name?"

"James. Same as Nialls. That's an easy one."

"Okay. I'll go harder."

I chuckled and bit my lip cause I took that wrong. He could tell I did and he laughed at himself.

"Anyway, what's my favorite food?"

"Chocolate. Easy one again."

"Okay, okay. Miss know it all. I get it, you're a true directioner." He laughs and I smile big and proud.

"So do you think there is something seriously wrong with your throat?"

"No. This happens a lot and it's usually nothing. But we have to be sure."

"Yea, I can understand that."

"What are you in for? If you don't mind me asking."

"Ha, you say that like we're in jail. And for me it's just a check up."

"Ah. Very simple. Hope it goes well for you."

"You too."

We sit in silence for awhile.

"How long has it been now?" He asks anxiously.

I look at my phone. "10 minutes." He groans slumping in his chair.

"Not having a good day?" I continue on with the conversation.

"I'm just bored."

"Yea, same."

"How long have you been waiting?"

"I came in about 5 minutes before you did."

"Oh not that bad."

I texted Jayel, So it is Liam and he's talking to me!

He quickly sits up and gasped, "You're not gonna tweet that I'm here or anything right?"

"No I won't if you don't want me to."

"I don't."

"Ok. I understand, I won't."

"Thank you."

Jayel texts back, Really? Oh was that you he was talking about in his tweet?

I smiled when I remembered he called me pretty. Yea. He did that to prove to me it was really him.

"So you think I'm pretty?"

"Yea. Haha sorry if I made you feel awkward."

"No, it's fine. I'm sure a billion of girls around the world would love to be called pretty by Liam Payne." I laughed.

"I know they would but I'd still be nervous to tell them."

"You didn't seem nervous when you told me."

"Yea, I was trying to be sly and hope you wouldn't catch it but apparently you did and I'm freaking out inside right now."

"Oh it's ok. There's no reason to freak out. I'm the one that's freaking out. I mean Liam Payne just told me I'm pretty."

"Stop using my last name."

"Sorry. I just wanted you to know how I was feeling."

"It's fine. I get it."

He turned away from me and stared into space without talking. I think I offended him or something.

"I really am sorry. Just so you know."

"I just get disappointed when I meet someone I'm starting to like but I can't really ask them out on a date cause they already know everything about me."

"Yea that can be hard. I can pretend I don't know everything about you."

"It's not the same. It's like you're on the 15th date and I'm stuck on the 1st not knowing a single thing about you. I don't even know your name. What is it?"

"Hannah. And well the best I can do is not make it obvious I know everything about you. I won't act like a know it all. I'll let you talk about anything you want and I'll listen."

"Really?"

"Yea. You're a great guy and not just cause you're hot and you can sing, I'd be happy to go out with you. If that's what you want."

"Yea I do. This may not be so bad. If it does go bad I'll know for next time."

"There you go."

"Alright. Sounds like a plan. Can I uh... have your number?"

"Yea." He hands me his phone and I type my number in trying not to show how happy I am that I'm putting my number in Liams phone. I didn't want to scare him off. I want to get to know him for myself and not what the media shows.
