Sitting With Liam

Chapter 11 - Unpredictable

On our drive we couldn't decide where to go or what to do. Liam got annoyed and he was the one driving so he just pulled into a parking lot to a haunted house.

He got out and gave us a look like 'come on.' We got out and got in line.

"I love haunted houses." I said.

"Good. I would have made you go in even if you didn't like them." Liam said.

I guess Liam isn't always a big sweet teddy bear. Louis has probably corrupted him.

I went in first. I know that being in the middle of a group is bad since that's where all the actors like to get people.

The haunted house was pretty fun. There were some critiques I had since i've worked in a haunted house before but it was still amazing.

As soon as we got out we still didn't know what to do.

"Just be quiet and let the driver decide where we go. It'll be fun." Liam said getting into the drivers seat.

We all got quiet and let Liam be in control.

He drove for awhile. He started to slow down in front of a cemetery and pulled in onto one of the small streets.

"In a horror mood are we?" I asked.

"I guess so." Liam said pulling over.

We got out and walked around looking at the graves.

Jayel disappeared. I rolled my eyes knowing she wanted to play hide-n-seek. She does it all the time.

I sat down on a bench next to a tree showing the boys that i'm not going to go looking for her. Louis on the other hand was desperate to find her so he ran off to look for her.

I looked back to where Liam was standing but he wasn't there. I started to look around. I heard heavy breathing behind my back. I jumped and look behind me but I didn't see anything.

Liam put his hands on my shoulder and he yelled to scare me. It worked. I jumped so high up. Once I realized it was him I slapped his arm which probably hurt me more than him but I didn't care.

He fell to the ground laughing.

Jayel walked up to us. I looked around for Louis but didn't see him.

"Where's Louis?" I asked her.

"I don't know. I thought he was still with you guys."

"He went looking for you."

"Oh oops. Louis!!!!!" She yelled. We waited a few seconds and didn't hear anything.

We roamed around the cemetery calling out his name. I got tired so I sat down on another bench in front of a tree.

Louis did the same thing that Liam did to me and I still jumped and slapped him.

"Now nobody move. We don't want to lose anyone else." I said staring down everyone.

"Too bad!" Jayel ran off again.

I sighed and sat back down. Louis and Liam sat on he grass next to me.

"Maybe she won't wait long and come back once she realizes that we're not going to look for her." Louis says.

"She'll wait a long time if she can see us." I said.

We all sighed. We didn't want to play this game in a big cemetery while it was dark we didn't want to lose anyone.

We got up and started looking for her.

It took us awhile but we finally found her.

We decided to sit and tell ghost stories. We all took turns and when we got scared enough we got back in the car and drove off.

We ended up at McDonalds. I got an ice cream and fries for dipping in the ice cream. Jayel got chicken nuggets and Dr. Pepper. Liam got a cheeseburger and a soda. Louis also got a cheeseburger and a soda.

After we finished eating we played on the playground. Liam was too big for some parts of the playground. When we made fun of Liam for being too big he came back with insults about how small Louis was.

After an hour of messing around at McDonalds we got really tired and headed back to the hotel.

We went into our separate rooms and fell asleep.
