Sitting With Liam

Chapter 10 - Hollywood

It was a long and eventful day.

I liked Hollywood but I wouldn't like to live there.

My favorite part was the Hollywood sign. It was quite a hike up there but it was worth it.

We ate lunch there then went back down to walk down Hollywood Boulevard.

I was worn out by the end of the day. I fell onto my bed face first with my arms spread out.

All four of us watched tv in mine and Jayels room. Liam was sitting next to me on my bed and Louis was sitting next to Jayel on her bed.

Jayel fell asleep on Louis shoulder pretty quick.

I can't fall asleep with the tv on so I waited till Liam and Louis were tired enough to go back to their rooms to go to bed to turn off the tv.

I got incredibly tired and didn't want to wait for the boys to go to bed so I fell asleep. Once Liam saw that I was asleep he turned the tv off then wrapped his arm around me and fell asleep himself. At that time Louis also fell asleep.

I woke up to Liam cooking pancakes. I got up and walked over to him.

"How'd you get the stuff to make pancakes?"

"I went to the store duh."

"Wow you get up early."

"Yea I do that."

Louis woke up and in a whisper he called me over to him and Jayel.

"How do I wake her up?"

"I have no idea."

"But you're her best friend. You should know."

"Sorry. I don't like waking people up so I just let her sleep in but maybe if you try she'll wake up cause it's you."

"Alright... Jayel. Wake up!"

Jayel groans and rolls over falling back asleep.

"Sorry. I can't help you much."

I walked back to the kitchen to where the pancakes were ready. I got an idea.

I took a plate with a pancake on it and hovered it under Jayels nose.

She opened one eye out of curiosity of what she was smelling. Then she looked at Louis.

"Hey Louis!"

She got up pretty quick and took the pancake.

"Now you're happy to see me."

"What?"

"I tried waking you up."

"Oh. Sorry."

The rest of us got pancakes and sat on the beds.

I opened the curtain to the window and sat back down staring outside.

"You spent all day exploring out there and you still want to go out there." Liam said to me.

"It's beautiful."

"Yea." Liam said still looking at me. I smiled at him and finished my pancake.

"What do we have planned for today?" I asked everyone.

"I think we should have a relaxing day." Louis answered laying back in bed.

"A movie marathon?" Jayel suggested.

"What movies?" I asked.

"Lord of the Rings?" Jayel said hopeful. I smiled and looked at the boys to see if they were okay with that. They agreed.

Liam and I went to the store to get the trilogy.

"Are you sure you don't want to watch a horror movie?" He asked.

"Why? So that I can fall into your arms when I get scared?"

"Psh... No..."

I laughed at him. "Well Lord of the Rings have some scary moments."

"Yea. I guess it's fine."

"Especially when Shelob comes on. I hate spiders."

"Shelob? You're such a geek."

"I am proud of that."

He rolled his eyes and paid for the movies and we headed out to the rental car.

We started the first movie as soon as we got back. Jayel and I quoted the monologue at the beginning with Galadriel. The boys laughed at us for knowing the movie so well but I think they liked us more for being such geeks.

And as I promised Liam I nuzzled my head into his chest as the part with Shelob came on. I really can't stand spiders especially big ones.

It was night time by the time we finished the trilogy but we weren't tired since we've been inside laying down all day. So we decided to go out for a late night drive.
