Chapter20-Save Her

 It's the next day. 7th Anthem were given a day off before leaving for Toronto. Andrew and Alyson gathered Amanda, Trevor, and Libby for a meeting. They met at the hotel bar. It was urgent.

 Alyson began: "You all know that Bailey is partying like there's no tomorrow. You know she's doing this because she's still distraught over Justin. Justin is showing no interest in helping her."

 Andrew added, "We're still not sure if Justin is bi or gay. But whatever he is, he needs to help Bailey. She was his girlfriend. They were just as influential and important as Alyson and I were."

 "They don't have to be back together. They just need closure. They need to know that they can still be friends. Bailey needs to know everything will be fine. Justin as to show that he still cares for her."

 "But we need your guys' help. We have to get Justin to help Bailey. We need to try to save her before she destroys herself. Are you all in?"

 Amanda, Trevor, and Libby agreed. Libby said, "I was the one who allowed her to go partying with me. Plus, I know what it's like to go through a breakup."

 Trevor added, "After Libby and I broke up, and starting dating other people, we made peace with each other. We made it clear that we still cared about each other. If Libby and I can recover from a bad breakup, so can Bailey and Justin."

 Amanda chimed in, "Bailey has been a great friend to us. She was the most sensible and reasonable. She might've been no match with Alyson and Andrew, who are the powerhouses of 7th Anthem, but she always kept her feet on the ground. I honestly don't know what made her want to party like she's Snooki. But whatever the reason, we have to save her."

 The members agreed, so they discussed on how to make this work.

 It's a few hours later. The 7A members were gathered in the living area of the suite. Bailey and Justin were sitting, facing each other. But they didn't make any eye contact.

 Alyson and Andrew were in charged of the intervention. Alyson began: "We're all here to try to save Bailey from her self-destructing partying ways."

 Bailey rolled her eyes at that statement, while Justin stared at the floor. Alyson noticed, so she continued, "At the same time, we're here to try to get Justin to care for her."

 Bailey got up from her seat, and said angrily, "Alyson, I don't need a babysitter. I'm fine. Now, if you'll excuse me, I gotta party before we leave for Toronto."

 Andrew told her, "Bailey, we all care about you. I get you're not feeling that from Justin. Who cares about him? The rest of us are concerned for you. You've been a great friend to us. You were the most down-to-earth member of the band. We want you alive and healthy."

 "Oh, I'm not?" Bailey snapped at him.

 Andrew hesitated to answer. Libby jumped in, and said, "What Andrew is saying is that we don't want you to waste your life away with partying. You're 22, and you're part of a band that is an international sensation. You should be living your life sober, and enjoy the success."

 Bailey told her sharply, "Don't give me that crap. You were partying like there was no tomorrow."

 "I controlled my partying ways. Yeah, I was heartbroken over Trevor, but I met Jason, and I was over the party scene. You can move on from Justin."

 "So, I should hook up with some random guy, and I hope I move on from Justin?"

 "I didn't hook up with Jason when we met. All we did was talk. That was it."
