Vanoss, Wildcat, Delirious and Mini, didn't act like a gang, so what are they? They are not what I expected, they where more carefree then they let on. I expected it to be more formal, them to be more scarier and intimidating dudes. Guess I'm hanging around Quantum too much?
~
Nothing really happened through out the car ride, I couldn't see shit but I guessed I was looking out the window facing the hidden landscape and scenery that lead to what I'm guessing was Vanoss and crew's hideout. Wildcat was trying to get back at me for before but he wasn't succeeding, but he managed something. About 10 minutes in to drive he swerved on the road making me hit my a few times against the back and front seat, Vanoss and Delirious told him to knock it off when I nearly flew through the front window. He was pretty chuffed with himself I'll tell you that.
After a few minutes of me resting. I didn't notice Delirious talking to me.
"Huh? What was that?" Turned to where I heard his voice, which was beside me.
"You can get out now." He repeated.
"Uh, I can't." I replied glaring at him through the bag. He couldn't see me but he could tell and chuckled.
"Oh right, I'll be around in a second." Closing the door behind him, I was left to myself for a bit. The door beside me clicked open, as the soft night breeze sent a chill down my back. A hand grabbed my elbow while the another hand guided my head so I didn't hit anything.
"Thanks." I mumbled, standing up straight I heard my Harley in the background and different hushed voices argue among themselves. I zoned in hearing a few words.
"Who's she!....Man what the fuck?...Damn...Really!?" And so on. All different accents and tones, their had to be at least 20-30 people talking.
"Everyone shut the fuck up!" Vanoss's voiced boomed, which made everyone mumble an apology, except me. "I need to talk to Virus here. So just go back to what you were doing before this. Okay?" Vanoss said again, making everyone shuffle back to what they where doing.
"Okay come on." Delirious pulled me along by my elbow.
My feet hit something making me trip. "You're not good at notifying me if there's something in the way."
"There's a step there." He chuckled a replied
"Nah shit sherlock." Rolling my eyes, I feel for the next step and the next.
Once I climbed Mount Everest, it was probably only 4 steps, but not being able to see, it felt like forever. Delirious guided me further, opening a door and closing it behind him. I was then met by a burst of warmth which consumed me. My cheeks, fingers and toes, burned against the warmth, with made my cheeks flushed a pale red.
"You can take off the bag now." Vanoss's voice filled the room. My restraints were cut loose, I automatically rubbed my slightly bruised wrists. Putting my hands under the bag, I quickly fixed my bandanna which fell loose in the car. Then pulled the bag off, my eyes stinging against the sudden burst of light. I scanned the room, the room was somewhat clean it had plain grey walls, a big arse painting on the wall behind Vanoss. The centre of the room was taken up by a long marble dining table, the floors where decked with dark wooden floorboards. A single light swung from the roof somewhat illuminating the entire room. But what got my attention was Delirious, he wore a light blue hoodie the inside of it white. He wore a dark grey shirt with a bulletproof vest on top, followed by black loose black pants and black skate shoes. And finally his white hockey mask with red markings on it. I also noticed a shotgun placed in Wildcat's hands.
"Is that necessary?" I eyed the shotgun, Wildcat gripped it tighter his knuckles turning white.
"I believe so?" He sounded cocky.
"Okay let's get down to business, shall we?" Vanoss pointing to the chair diagonal from the end chair where he sat. I pulled the chair out and sat down.
"We know why your here, so we'll skip all of that boring shit. All we really want is to see you in action. So tomorrow at 7am sharp, we'll meet out back and we will run through some stuff. You'll stay the night in the spare room. So is that sound alright?" Explaining what was gonna happen, I nodded along.
They work differently too. Letting me stay the night? Quantum would've had a full brown interview with paperwork and shit like that. I'll just go with it for now.
"Okay? Are you sure with me staying the night?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow at him.
"If you're wondering, we are gonna keep an eye on ya, so don't do anything I wouldn't." Wildcat seemed to smirk, eyeing me carefully behind his mask
"Anything you wouldn't? So no taking showers? Gotcha." I nodded smirking behind my bandana.
"She got you good!" A maniac laugh abrupt from Delirious's throat.
"Shut the fuck up dude! Ye bastard." Wildcat yelled, Delirious's laugh becoming contagious as Vanoss laughed along.
"I'll be with the others if ye need me." Wildcat grumbled storming out the front door mumbling every insult at the air.
"Okay since it's pretty much settled, Delirious show Virus to the spare room and I'll be back. I gotta inform the rest." Vanoss calmed down after his fit of laughter, walking out the front door.
"Just follow your nose down the corridor and it's the last door on the right. And the bathroom is the very last door at the end. I'll be in that room. You can come in once you've done." Delirious finished pointing to a door a few metres beside the painting.
I nodded, walking towards my room for the night. Opening the door with squeak, I noticed a single bed with navy blue sheets and white pillows pushed up in the back left corner. There was a bed side table and a closet on the opposite side of the room. Not much, but I'll be staying here for only a night.
Or for a while if the let me join.
