A week after Jason woke up, he together with Macy went to church to pray and to see their sons.

Kendra was anxious to see Jaycee she was looking for him. A smile forms in her face when she notice him. He emerge from the main door of the church with Mason, Jason, and Macy. Her eyes were fixated on them as Jason and Macy find a seat. It was the first time Kendra saw Jaycee arrived with someone and she immediately assumed it was his parents. The resemblance is obvious. Jaycee and Mason went to prepare for the mass.

Kendra's eyes were still focused on Jay. She was wondering, will he talk to her again? And the idea of hearing his voice especially hearing it say her name, made her giddy. Kendra is still focused on the mass, but she still looks at him once in a while. But Jay didn't seem to notice her for she did not even glance at her direction. It was as if he's avoiding her. The mass was almost over and the closing song was playing.

When it ended Kendra went to the holy water. She thought of the thing that happened last week. Will he be there again? Her question was answered when she turn and saw Jay talking with his parents. She can't help but feel hurt even though she knows it was nonsense. She's curious as to why he intentionally bump her, and act as if she didn't exist all of a sudden.

Kendra went up to the parking lot to look for her parent.

"Why do you have a long face?" Her mom asked her from the shotgun as Kendra was seated at the back.

"Nothing mom, just tired." Kendra said looking at the window avoiding to look at her mother. She does not want her mother to know about it because she knows it's silly.
Their family decided to eat at a restaurant nearby before they went home. They always eat lunch outside after church and before going home.

It was one of the most popular restaurant in their town, and a lot of people stop by to eat. After Kendra and her family has ordered, she stood up to look for the restroom. She walks towards the narrow hallway, too narrow to be walked by two people at the same time. As she's walking towards it, she notice a familiar face walking towards her. She saw a guy, with warm brown skin and black eyes looking back at her. Her eyes widened in shock and her heart starts to beat loudly as she recognized who it was.

They both can't take their eyes off of each other. Shock was evident in their face. As they walk towards each other, Kendra's walk started to get slow. When they're a foot away from each other Kendra looked away stoping their connection. The hallway towards the restroom is too narrow that they have to slightly slide passed each other, making the back of their hands touch one another.

An electric feeling rush, as if they were spark. Kendra walks faster after the were back to back from each other. She quickly closed the door of the restroom and rest his body on the door. She touch the hand that brushed Jay's and place it on her heart. She can feel her heart beating so fast.

Jay turned to look at her but she already inside the restroom. He clenched the hand had brushed Kendra's. He tried so hard not to look at her in the mass and he can't believe he saw her here. Fate must be playing them.

Jay walks back to where they seated, and he look for Kendra's parents and saw them sitting two tables in front of them. He sat facing the Jones table. He sat beside Mason and in front is his mother beside his father.

Kendra walks back to her parents. She felt a bit nervous as she sits besides her mother. "Are you alright princess?" Cassandra, Kendra's mother said. As she place her hand on Kendra's hand.
"I'm okay mom" Kendra said as she smiled back at her mom. Her parents continue to talk as Kendra scan the restaurant for Jay. Her eyes stop at the person who was already looking straight at her. She was surprised when Jay smiled at her. And for the first time, Kendra smiled back at him.

Jay's heart seems to beat faster as Kendra flashes a beautiful smile at him. Jay snap out of it when he felt an elbow hit him. Mason raised his eyebrows at Jay as if to say stop. Jay clears his throat and puts his hand clench, in front of his mouth as if to hide his face. He glance at Kendra once again before he stops looking.

Kendra also manage to look away, but can't help but blushed. While they were eating, the two can't help help but glance at each other once in a while. They are careful not be notice by the people besides them.

Kendra and his family finished eating first. They stood up and was about to leave. Kendra smiled at Jay before she leave as if to say goodbye. Jay smiled back as if to say take care.

Macy and Jason did not notice it but Mason did. Jay became even more happier all of a sudden. "Dad, I think Jay wants to introduce his new girlfriend." Mason said. Jason frowned."Who?"

"No one dad, I have no girlfriend for more than half a year now." Jaycee explained and frowned at Mason.

"Right, I was just kidding." Mason said as he smirked at Jay.

On the way to their car at the parking lot, Cassandra can't help but notice the sudden change of Kendra's aura. "You seem happy, a while ago it looks like you lost someone, but now you look like you found it." Cassandra asked Kendra while Kevin, Kendra's father starts their car.

"Nothing mom" Kendra said with a smile. "Is it wrong to be happy all of a sudden?"

"It's just weird." Cassandra said. "Well I guess teenagers this days are just moody." She said as she enters their car. While Kendra can't help but smiles as she remembers Jay's smile.
