He stopped to reveal dark grey, almost black, angel wings. He quickly bowed at the other three before climbing on Brin's back.
"Sam, Dean, Gabe, this is one of my sons Hope."
"Hello! Are you bad guy killers like the Sam and Dean in the stories?"
"If you are talking about Winchesters, kid. Then you are talking to The Sam and Dean." Dean said before laughing at Hope's face.
Both Sam and Dean noticed the strange look Gabe was giving Brin.
"Well, the diner is just ahead. Ask for the human menu. I need to take him back to his mom before she kills me."
Brin walked away from the group as they followed his directions.
"I'm used to finding a few good monsters but a whole town full of them? Feels fishy to me." Dean told them at the table.
"Don't be so surprised, some people are just born different and some are forcefully turned." Gabe told him right before the waitress walked up to them.
"So what kind of menu would you three lovely men would like?"
The two hunters jumped in surprise at her black eyes.
"Two human menus and one desert one if you have some." Gabe said without reacting.
"Two humans and a trickster. Okay, I will be back in a few seconds."
"Was that a demon?" Sam asked as soon as she walked away.
"You slept with one before, so you should know." Gabe told him.
"Low blow man." Dean told him as the waitress came back to them.
"Well, here are your menus. Is there anything you boys would like to drink?"
"I'll take a beer." Dean told her.
"Water."
"Best milkshake that you have with extra whipped cream!"
She was laughing at Gabe's answer.
"Just to let you boys know, you are the only two humans here. Most of us have great hearing. I am a demon, and your cook is a werewolf. So be nice, and please tip."
She walked away to talk to another table.
"I told you not judge a book by a cover. Oh my chuck! The desserts in this place are amazing! They got a dessert called Death by Chocolate!"
"Gabriel, why did you take us here without telling us." Dean asked us.
He put the menu down and look right into Dean's eyes.
"Look here Deano, I come out of hiding because I was told that my brother might die. So I looked for the one place that could save him. So what that it is full of non-humans trying to live human lives. They can save him here." He loudly whispered to them. "Now I am going to enjoy this little diner heaven before I get the urge to beat you up for hurting Cassy."
"Please, I am sure that this town doesn't really like hunters so please don't fight here." Sam begged Gabe.
Gabe fell back in a huff right before the drinks were handed out.
"Are you three ready to order?"
Sam got a salad, Dean got an bacon cheeseburger and a slice of pie, and then Gabe got the Death By Chocolate and a banana split.
"How can you two eat all that?"
"Sammy! I'm a warrior! I can't eat rabbit food!" Dean said with his mouth full.
"Come on, you studied tricksters back when you were hunting me. We need the sugar." Gabe told him while his face was covered in the chocolate.
"Why do I feel like the oldest right now?"
"Because you need to have more fun in life." They said together.
He was about to yell at the two of them as a small redheaded boy walked up to their table.
"Excuse me sirs, but are you friends with the new patient?"
"I'm his brother, why do you ask?" Gabe asked after cleaning his face.
"Well, he is awake now and the doc sent me to pick up some food for him. What does he like to eat?"
"Cheeseburgers are Cas's favorite. Could you tell us your name?"
Dean answered him after swallowing the last bite.
"Flame Moonlight, the youngest son of the lord of this town."
He walked away before going up to the counter. Sam was the only one that saw the red fluffy tail sticking out from under the boy's shirt.
"So what so special about Brin in this town?" Sam asked Gabe after he finished his salad.
"Well, he was not the original leader of this town. Haven was first created by his mother, Luna. She died shortly after I visited the first time. So he has been trying to live up to her legacy. He has a natural distrust of humans because they killed Luna."
"Wait, his mom was named Luna Moonlight?" Dean asked.
"No, she didn't have a last name. She was just known as Lady Luna. Brin chose Moonlight as a last name to honor her memory."
"Can you imagine how some hunters would act if they found out about this town? They would shoot first and ask questions never." Sam pointed out right before Brin walked up to them.
"Enjoying your meal?" He asked the group before turning to Gabe. "You have liquid sugar all over your face." Gabe snapped his fingers and the mess disappeared. "Anyway, as long as everyone behaves, you can stay as long as you need to. But, we only have two rooms available right now at our inn and here are the keys to the two rooms."
"Gabriel just told us that you distrust humans so why are you acting so nice?" Dean asked him and the other two stared at him in shock.
"I have learned that after living so many centuries, it is unwise to hold hate in for so long. Also I have heard that you two are different from other humans. If you need me I will be in the house in the center of town."
He put the keys down before walking away.
"Parenthood really calmed him down after this long time. So, how are we working the room deal?" Gabe asked after they paired for the food and left the diner.
"How about you and Sam take one room and I take the other until Cas is healed." Dean told them.
"Okay."
"Fine with me, Deano!"
