This part goes back when Gabe first found this town about a couple hundred years ago. Well, time to get on reading!

"Shit, these humans are getting smarter by the years." Gabe said as he leaned against an tree. "They are starting to see my tricks easier. I need to step up my game." He looked down at his bleeding arm. "How did they know how to injure me?"
A small black wolf came running, out of the nearby bushes, but stopped when he saw Gabe leaning against the tree. He sniffed at the small drops of blood on the ground before barking.
"Please stop barking, I don't want humans to find me."
"Fang? Where are you? You better not be eating any humans when I find you!"
A young girl that looked around her mid-twenties came out of the bushes and saw Gabe.
"Hi, do you have any bandages on you? I need some because I am bleeding right now."
"I can see that." She pulled out an bow and pointed at him. "Where are your other angel friends at?"
"What do you mean? I am not an angel." He tried to lie to her.
"You have angel grace within your blood, I can smell it."
"Well shit, I am injured and apparently there are angels nearby. I tried to hide from them and then this happened. Man, I must have a bad hand in the poker of life right now." He ranted out at her.
She tilted her head at him before putting the bow away.
"Well, if you are hiding from angels, then I can keep you safe. My village is right by here and I can get you patched up."
"How do you know that I am not lying?"
She pointed to the wolf while helping Gabe up.
"Fang would have barked at you if you lying. So, what is your name, angel?"
"Gabriel, but I prefer to be known as Loki the Trickster while hiding. What is your name?"
"Brin, the youngest child of Lady Luna, the ruler of this area." The wolf jumped around before biting part of the bush to move it. "Thanks Fang, can you move ahead to make sure it is safe?"
It took a while for the two of them to get to the town. She quickly wrapped up his wound to hide the grace in his blood. The town itself was bustling with feathers, tails, blood. All of the villagers had at least one bandage on them.
"Doc! I found an injured person here! I am going to your house with him."
"What is happening here?" Gabe asked as Fang used his nose to open the door.
"War. With your brothers and sisters."
Gabe gave her an wide-eyed look because that surprised him.
"Why?"
"Some big dick with wings, I think his name starts with an M, decided that he should make angel hybrids with non-humans to fight demons. The best place to find non-humans is here in Haven, so angels have been trying to kidnap the women to impregnate them."
"I think the angel is Metatron. I wonder why he would do that."
The doctor came in with a medical bag."
"Why did you bring him in here? I could have helped him outside." The doctor said as she put her bag next to Gabe.
"No you couldn't, the whole village would have killed him."
She moved the makeshift bandage to show his blood.
"That's angel grace! You of all people should know that it would be bad idea to bring him here! He could be a spy!"
"I swear I am not! I was attacked by humans and she found me. Please don't kill me or hand me over to Metadouche! I like this country, and I don't want to move." Gabe begged her.
Doc quickly looked at sleeping Fang before opening her bag.
"I swear if you weren't the young prince I would smack you."
"Love you too."
"Prince? But you look like a girl!" Gabe said as Doc got started on fixing his arm.
"I was a guy until one of your brothers cursed me into this form!"
"Brin, did you find out why yet?" Doc asked.
"No, not yet."
Gabe noticed that she was lying as she lightly brushed her stomach while looking away from them. Right as Doc finished with the last stitch, there was an loud explosion that shook the building.
"Shit! They are attacking again! They must have knew about the barrier being built!" Doc said before running off to get people to safety.
The two of them ran out and then they saw the feathered beings descend from the sky. Brin pulled out her bow and started pulling out arrows with glistening tips.
"Loki, you might want to back up. These arrows are dipped in holy oil." She told him before breathing fire on the arrows.
Before the angels had a chance to land, she was shooting their wings off. Gabe looked up at the sky and saw the familiar flaming sword aimed at Brin's back. He pushed her out of the way and the sword hit the ground without hitting either of them.
"Shit, where is the owner?" Brin said before pulling something out of her pocket. "Wear this because it will let you stay here when the barrier goes up."
She handed him an bracelet with two crescent moons on it.
"If the angels are here, you should check on your mother."
"Good idea, come on!"
She ran off and Gabe followed her as she shot down angels that was about to attack the fleeing villagers. Gabe saw an white haired female with huge silver wings, praying at the base of a fountain. Right before they reached her, a large winged being landed right in front of Brin.
"Metatron, take your siblings and leave here. They will live and not end up dead." Brin told him as she lifted an arrow up.
"What about all of my soon to be nieces and nephews? Have them raised by demons or dead before they were born? Why would I let you do that?"
At the end of his words, he moved forward and grabbed the edge of Brin's shirt before she had a chance to block him. Gabe pulled out an angel blade as he tossed her to the fountain.
"Look at all this pain and suffering that you caused, Luna. All you had to do was follow my order and obey."
"Ordering people around is not what father wanted!" Gabe yelled out before running to Brin.
Luna stood up where she was praying earlier and turned to Metatron.
"This is your last warning, get out now or feel the pain of being forced out." She told him.
"No." He ran forward and stabbed her in the chest. "Now you are dead and all of your people will belong to me."
"Blessed be this blood as it returns to your earth." Metatron's eyes widen as she continued chanting. "Accept my gift to protect all that request it." He dropped her body and started to run towards Gabe and the fallen Brin. "Accept my blood to create an barrier to protect us from those not marked." He went to strike Brin but Gabe blocked the blow. "As mote may be."
An invisible force knocked Metatron back into the sky and Gabe watched as an silver barrier grew from the ground before it disappeared.
"Gabe, help me over to her, please."
He helped her over and she kneeled down after they reached Luna.
"Mother, is there anyway you can live?" She asked as blood dripped from her mother's mouth.
"No my dear child. But I can stay long enough to tell you something. I learnt why they cursed you. They thought you were the weakest of my children because you were the youngest, but they were wrong." She reached up to wipe Brin's tears. "I give my blessing to be the one to follow my rule here. The village will accept you for who you are and what you carry."
She closed her eyes for the last time and Gabe helped her lift the body up.
**
"After I helped bury Brin's mother, I only stayed for a month to keep the angels off my tail." Gabe said after he finished the story. "I kept in touch over the years and sent people here for protection."
"Well, I want to ask him if there is anything he needs help with. I feel bad for staying here without any jobs." Sam said as he started to walk out.

Well, there is a little bit of background on the town. It plays a key part because of something special I want to add in later.
Well I will see you all next time!
