Kai yelled with joy as he slid down the half-pipe on his skateboard, doing sweet moves at every air born moment. He wore a white shirt with his red jacket and blue jeans. Of course he also wore a red helmet and knee pads.
"Whoa..." A skater guy gasped once Kai finally stopped at the top of the half-pipe. "You've got some skills Ninja-dude"
"Ah... it's nothing..." Kai pulled his helmet off revealing his brown spiky hair. "I've done full-pipe like there was nothing to it..."
"Wicked..." The skater guy smiled.
Kai then heard faint screams of a couple of girls that made his amber eyes light up in fear.
"Oh gosh... they found me..." Kai cringed, tossing his helmet aside and ducking in the half-pipe. "No matter where I go they always find me..."
"Who Ninja-dude?" The skater guy asked.
"Fan-girls..." Kai said like it's a curse word.
"Oh..." The skater guy realized his problem. "What should I do?"
"What's your name?"
"Chad, why?"
"Alright... Chad... I owe you big time" Kai cringed. "But if you really wanna help me out... Do something that would make them go away..."
"Like what?"
"I Dunno... Do something embarrassing!"
"Oh..." Chad smiled. "okay Ninja-dude."
In no time the fan-girls came up around the corner and Chad immediately walked up to them with confidence.
"Hey, ladies..." Chad leaned against a nearby tree.
"Oh... Hey..." One of the girls spoke. "Have you seen Kai Smith in the area?"
"Nope." Chad smiled triumphantly. "But I know where something Better is."
"Really!?" The girl got excited. "What?! Lloyd Garmadon!?"
"Nope... Better." Chad grinned and then began to undo his belt.
"WAIT! NO NO NO STOP!" The girl screamed, making Chad stop. "Okay... It's pretty obvious, none of the ninja would hang out around HERE... come on, let's go."
As the fan-girls left, Kai sighed with relief. He didn't really know why he acted like he did around fan-girls. He used to adore them and relish in their attention. But ever since that moment where they where running from them and got this very strong feeling of Deja Vu, He felt like they would maul him like zombies.
"Chad, Thank you so much." Kai Came out of his hiding place when Chad came back over. "I seriously owe you..."
"Nah... it's ok Ninja-Dude..." Chad Smiled. "I've always wanted to do that..."
Kai Just stared at Chad, almost scared to think about what goes on in his head.
"Uh... Okay then..." Kai shook it off. "But Seriously... I. Owe. You."
"Well..." Chad thought for a moment. "You could show me how to do those cool moves..."
"Is that all?" Kai Laughed, grabbing his helmet and his skateboard. "Come on!"
Kai then climbed up to on to the half-pipe and started skating down on his skateboard. Chad watched in awe as Kai demonstrated several moves. But all of a sudden, Chad noticed something. Holes began to be visible on Kai's jacket, the edges scorched, and his skin... On fire.
"You're on fire!" Chad warned Kai
"Thanks man, I try." Kai took it as a complement and he skated up and down of the half-pipe.
"No, you're on FIRE!" Chad spoke louder.
Kai then realized what Chad was saying and spotted the spots covered in flames. He tried patting them out while he was still skated. He soon crashed and fell off the half-pipe.
"Stop, drop, and roll, Ninja-dude!" Chad shouted.
As Kai rolled on the ground trying to put the fires out, a crowd started to form, freaking Kai out and he burst into flames. A fire then formed around him and he felt something pass through him, and he felt like he was being torn apart.
He then blacked out.
