Zane sighed as he stared at the latest issue of Ninjago Teen Magazine "Ninja Exclusive". On the cover was a giant picture of him last week, hanging out with others at the beach in their swimsuits. The Description went on about their muscular figure and how lucky the new female ninjas must feel about hanging around with them.
"Were does the public ever come up with this?" Zane asked himself.
At the moment Zane stood in the magazine section of the Ninjago super mall by a grocery cart. He wore a light blue shirt with a wight jacket and blue jeans. His ice blue eyes matched his wight washed blonde hair to a T, and his skin was pale as a porcelain doll. True, he was a Nindroid, metal parts inside, he liked to have the illusion that he was human, showing that in reality he 85% like an actual human being. Even he didn't even understand it.
"Ah.. Here it is." Zane picked up the latest issue of Ninjago Electronics.
Zane liked looking through it, along with Jay when he's not working on one of his goofy inventions. He felt like he learned more about himself when he read through it. Plus, Emma liked to use them for her crafts.
To his dismay, Ninjago Electronics was the only magazine that hadn't begged them to get an exclusive. Though, he'd once in awhile see a picture of himself pop up, going on about his electronic differences. Jay would pop up too sometimes, which got the hyperactive Ninja excited.
Zane placed the Magazine in his cart and pushed along through the store.
Believe it or not, Ninja need groceries too.
As Zane went through the isles, he went through a checklist he kept in his head. Keeping track of everything he gets, everything he hasn't gotten, and what he cannot get. In his mind, he also kept track of their budget, which seemed to be growing after Wu's tea shop had gotten so popular.
"Right..." Zane thought to himself. "Cole needs more toothpaste, I've gotten Jay's power converter, Willow wants some avocados for when she cooks next, I've gotten the cookies Lloyd wants, and I want to get dragon fruit for this dish I want to create tonight."
Zane went into the produce section, looking for avocados and dragon fruit. As he passed a bunch of vegetables in a freezer area to keep them fresh, they then froze solid as Zane walked by. Stumping a worker there unloading a new delivery of asparagus.
Zane then spotted the dragon fruit and picked one up to see if it was ripe, but it only froze at his touch. This startled him, making him look behind him to see a trail of frozen goods, and one annoyed mall worker.
"Oh..." Zane left his cart trying to unfreeze everything. "I-I'm sorry... I-I don't know what went wrong..."
"Hey..." The worker looked at Zane. "You're Zane Julien... The ice ninja, right?"
"Indeed I am..." Zane got a little frustrated. Once he finally defrosted something, it just froze again.
"Oh, man. What an honor." The worker grinned. "My name's Bobby... Is... Your powers the cause of this?"
"I am not sure..." Zane tried to figure out what was going on. "This has never happened before..."
"So... I'm gonna guess that frost isn't suppose to form on your face." Bobby pointed at Zane.
Zane lifted his hand up to his cheek, to feel frost growing up from his neck. Zane then reached into his pocket to grab his phone, but then froze at his touch.
"Um..." Zane looked sheepishly at Bobby. "You... wouldn't happen to have a phone on you... would you?"
"Oh, yeah. Sure man." Bobby pulled out his phone and extended it to Zane.
"No, no." Zane cautioned him. "I'm afraid I'll just freeze it... Could you..."
"Oh yeah, sure thing." Bobby smiled eager to help out. "What's the number?"
Zane began to notice storm clouds forming around in the mall. Worrying about the safety of others.
"I don't believe I'll be able to make this call..." Zane cringed. "I'd like you to call the number 878-9528, an elderly man will answer and you must tell him that you're a friend of mine, and that something is wrong."
The clouds then started to snow, hard. Creating a mini blizzard around Zane and Bobby.
"W-wait..." Bobby stuttered. 'W-what's going on?"
"I do not know!" Zane began to panic. "But I need you to-"
Zane all of a sudden felt something surge through him, making him feel like he was exploding. Then blacked out.
