Julie's POV
We finally pull up to the school and Jacob parks the car.
I look out the window and stare at the school building.
Did I really want to face this day at school?
"C'mon princess, we're already late" he says softly.
"Okay" I speak, my voice sounding worst than earlier.
"No more talking either" he says with a smirk as we step out of the car.
We begin walking towards the entrance and he opens the door for me.
He walks me to my locker and waits for me to get my things so we can go to his.
We get to his locker and he puts his book bag up and grabs everything he needs.
We both walk into our class together and all eyes are on us.
"Late to my class again?" Ms.Cherry says as she looks at us.
"Ma'am we just g-" he starts but she cuts him off.
"Detention for the both of you" she says sternly.
Jacob's POV
I look over at Julie to see her roll her eyes.
We both make our way to our seats. I let out a low sigh and put my head in my hands. I have a bad feeling about today.
Lunch Time
"Wassup y'all" I say as I reach the table.
"Hey" Ray before stuffing a taco in his face.
"Aye wassup Jacob" Chresanto states as he pulls me in for some dap.
Where's Craig?...Maybe he really didn't want to be bothered after earlier.
"So, what y'all got planned
for this weekend?" Chresanto asked.
"I've got nothing" I say while watching Julie leave the cafeteria. I wonder where she's headed.
"How about we hit up this party?" Ray asks.
I wonder if they know about Julie's Mom. I doubt it since they are talking about going to parties when I'm pretty sure the funeral is soon.
"I don't know really", I say while glancing over at the door to make sure I saw Julie when she returned.
Ray's POV
(AN: I will try to do more POV's if you guys want.)
We all sat at the table thinking of what we could do on this boring weekend.
Although it's only Monday, we still want to think ahead of time...or at least I do.
I was about to start on my 3rd taco until my stomach grumbled a little.
What the fu-
"Aye y'all I'll be right back" I say, taking my self out of my own thoughts.
I quickly walk out of the cafeteria and down the hallway.
The halls were so silent that could hear a penny if I dropped one from a mile away.
I walk into the Boys bathroom and go into a stall.
I stand there trying to figure out if I've got to take a sh-.. I mean poop or throw up.
I end up figuring out it was neither and I walk back out of the stall.
I walk to the mirror and splash some warm water on my face.
I walked over to the paper towel and pull a piece out and begin wiping my face and hands.
In the process I hear a loud scream.
At first I thought...man I really need to chill on those tacos. I think there getting to my head.
But then I heard another scream and a bang.
I run out of the bathroom and I was just about to head down the hall until I noticed it was coming from the girls bathroom.
I walked in front of the door and put my ear against it.
"If you tell anybody, it'll be way worst next time bitch", a girl says.
I hear footsteps coming towards the door and I run and hide on the other side of the wall.
I take a look at 3 girls walking out of the bathroom but I didn't really catch any of there faces.
I'm taken out of my thoughts when I hear whimpering coming from the bathroom.
I'm stuck between two decisions.
1. Make a run for it and pretend I didn't hear or see a thing.
2. Go help whoever is in the bathroom.
Knowing me, I had to pick 2. Although I really didn't want to.
I begin preparing myself for what and who I was going to see.
I open the door slowly and the cries soft and low. I slowly approach the girl with her back facing me.
"Are you okay?", I ask.
Stupid question Ray. Nice job buddy :)
I mentally slap myself in the face for that one.
The girl immediately stops crying and her body stiffens.
She turns around and her eyes are swollen, she has blood coming from her nose and cuts 5 cuts on both arms. Blood was everywhere.
"Ray?" Julie speaks softly.
