I never should have touched her hand,
Leaving me feeling like water in sand.
I never should have seen those eyes,
Looking towards the heavenly skies.
I should have listened to them all,
As they said that I would surely fall.
She left me helpless, stranded at sea,
While sitting back to her cup of tea.
I never should have got in the van,
Pinched like tuna inside of a can.
I never should have listened that day,
They took my hopes and dreams away.
