The Moment He Will Never Know

The moment you open your heart up to someone and you feel fine, until he replies back to you.

The moment that you feel relief from letting go of something you have been holding in for years, until he replies back to you.

The moment you feel free because you finally admitted to him that you like him as more than a friend, until he replies back to you.

The moment that you feel happy because you see he is writing more, until you see what he wrote.

The moment he friend-zones you and reveals that he has a girlfriend you feel crushed.

The moment that he tells you that he himself has admitted to a friend of his that he liked as more than a friend, and was friend-zoned and says he knows how you feel, but in all honesty he doesn't because you have liked him for years.

He doesn't know how you feel because you have dreamt of him being with you, the two of you having fun, happy memories, years invested with each other.

He doesn't know that you tear up while replying back to saying "Yeah at least I have finally let it out into the air" and "Don't worry, it's all cool."

He doesn't know that it is not cool because of the fact that all the dreams you have had of him are now broken, crushed, destroyed by seven words...."I've always saw you as a friend."

He doesn't know that while you are falling asleep that you didn't even realize yourself that you were crying.

He doesn't know that when you meant by "like him as more than a friend", you really meant "I love you."

He doesn't know and will most likely never know because now you feel like it will always be awkward talking to him.

The moment you are with friends and don't even realize that he is the only thing you can think of because the wound is still to fresh and he will never know this either.

He will never know that I am writing this about him. He will never know that this even exists because you never mentioned that you write and sometimes ramble about your feelings here.

He will never this moment.
