Chapter 7: Quest Begins (Part 2)

[Your Name]'s  P.O.V

I was being shake vigorously as I groaned and continued to sleep. I kept hearing my name being called over and over.

"[Your Name]." The person spoke, still continuing to shake me, "[Your Name]." They said a bit louder. I furrowed my brows, in irritation.

"[Your Name]. We have to go now." At that my head jolted up, colliding with the other person's head. I rubbed it and groaned. I heard a small grunt. I opened one eye and looked down my right side.

There laid Garroth, rubbing his head.

"Garroth? What are you doing? We have to go!" I dashed out of the bed and jumped out of the tree.

"[Your Name]!" Garroth shouted after me. My mind was to fuzzy to be thinking straight. The only way to clear my mind was to properly "wake up". When I was in mid-air, I could think straight and when that happened, my eyes widened and I knew what was happening. I did a flip, and after that, I could feel my feet on the ground. I was breathing a bit heavily.  I heard some feet running towards me. I stood up and dusted my clothes.

"[Your Name]!" I heard Garroth yell, "Are you okay?" He asked once he approached me.

"Yes. I am." I said like nothing happened. He sighed in relief.

"Never. Do. That. Again. You almost gave me a heart attack." He placed his hand over his chest where his heart is located and breathed in and out.

"Well I'm sorry if I scared you. That's how I usually clear up my head." I responded.

"By jumping out of a tree?"

"Pretty much, yeah." He stared wide-eyed at me.

"O-okay..."

"Well hurry up! The others must be waiting for us!"

"Well yeah... That's why I came to get you..."

"You did?" I asked, acting all confused, when I really did know what was happening. He sighed.

"Whatever. Let's go meet up with the others." I nodded and began walking towards the gate.

When we got there, almost everyone was there, except for Travis, Katelyn, Dante, and Laurance.

"Where are those four..." Jaquelynn muttered. We were all waiting for the four to return, so I jumped into a tree and sat there. Aaron leaned on the trunk below, Garroth was sitting on a rock, shining his sword, Leona was hanging upside-down, with a book in her hands, muttering out some stuff,  Ash was beside her, hands crossed, and Jace was, well he looked like his happy self.

We were waiting for about five minutes, when we heard the thumping of feet coming towards us. When I looked down, I saw a pissed off Katelyn, a bruised up Travis, a terrified Dante, and a laughing Laurance.

"Why does Katelyn look angry, and why are you guys late."

"Your not going to ask if I'm fine?" Travis said.

"We all know why you're bruised up." Aaron responded, "But what did you do, to make her so mad?"

"Nothing!" Travis shouted innocently.

"Nothing? You mean "accidentally" touching my butt is nothing?"

"Well if you put it that way..."

"Why you-" She was about to punch Travis, when I had to come and drag her away. I held onto the collar of her jacket as she struggled to get out of my grip. I just stared off into the distance, with a bored look on my face. As I held Katelyn back, Travis was sulking with Dante, and a purplish-black aura was emitting from them. I just rolled my eyes and sighed. This is going to be a long trip...
