I was pinned against a tree, sword at my neck. I gritted my teeth. I can't believe a mere guard could trap me. But I couldn't let it happen for long. I kneed him where... Ahem... Where the sun doesn't shine and as he yelped and fell to the ground, I grabbed him sword. Now the tables have turned. I had his sword towards his neck.
"Don't kill him!" I heard the voice that belonged to Aphmau shout at me as she fended off another guard.
"Then where's the fun in that?!" I shouted back. I pushed the sword down a bit more, making it touch his throat. As blood drew, I slid the sword down his neck to his chest and thus a scar was made. A shadow came out of me and crawled towards the bleeding man. It had a menacing smile as it entered the guard's head.
I blinked out of shock. This hasn't happened before. A voice in my head talked.
"Sp34k..." It whispered in a low and glitchy way. I was taken aback, but I didn't let it show.
"You shall not come back here, disturbed anyone, or hurt the innocent. If you do, I will not hesitate to kill you with my sword, my bare hands and my shadows." I spoke. The guard's body shook an foam was forming in him mouth. A disgusting sight.
I didn't know how to stop the small dark figure, so I did it like how I would order people.
"That's enough... Err... Shadow... You've done well."
"Aww, but I was just having some fun..." A child's voice spoke, as the shadow crawled out, leaving the guard unconscious and re-entering me. It didn't hurt, it just felt like a prick.
"What... What the hell just happened?" I whispered to myself, brows furrowing together. Staring at my hands, I had felt a sword rise towards my neck. While my eyes widened, I stared up and they met those black eyes.
"Oh my sweet [Your Name]..." His voice sounded sweet, but was coated in poison. "You're too dangerous for this planet. Who knows how many people you would kill."
"Like you can say anything, Zane" Spitting at him, as I said his name. " Can you tell me how many people you've killed?"
"Oh how nice of you to change the topic to me. But I didn't come here to talk about myself. I came to talk about you." He grinned.
Oh what a sinister smile.
One that would kill.
But not me.
I'm too strong to die.
I couldn't die.
I had to protect the ones I love.
The ones that have protected me.
The ones that welcomed me.
They welcomed me.
A murder. Demon. Shadow. Devil.
"You can't kill me! I won't let you!" I growled.
"Who said I was going to kill you." He still wore that hideous grin, but his eyes held amusement. "Oh silly [Your Name]... You thought I was going to kill you." Bursting out in a low laughter, I gritted my teeth.
"Let me go! I don't care what you're going to do, I don't want to be involved!" I shouted.
"So naive." His face hardened. "It's disgusting."
I had enough with this trash. I grabbed his sword, the blade cutting into my skin, making it bleed. As Zane was caught off guard, I took the chance to kick him right in the stomach. He grunted and fell on the floor. Taking his sword, covered in my blood, I raised it to his neck.
"I should've done this a long time ago." I said as my voice was cold and filled with venom that it could kill.
I put as much strength in my arms and I lowered it near his neck.
It felt heavy.
And that was good.
It was like a rock sinking in water.
It made it fall faster.
And I wanted to end him faster.
Maybe it's just the shadows talking, but I want him dead.
He's caused me so much trouble.
And it would be better if he was gone.
To finish the job, that many have been trying to accomplish, the blood stained sword fell and was knocked out of my hands.
My eyes widened and I stumbled backwards a bit.
"You thought you won?"
