Why Don't You Get It?

         Conny ran into her room, crying, she she wanted a normal family, didn't they understand what was happening. She knew what Jem felt...it all made sense now. She was such an jerk to her sister, and now she couldn't even find her. Everything she ever had was gone, the trust for her mom, her sister, herself, she felt she had lost it all...and nothing could get it back. She just wanted her sister, wasn't it enough that she had to deal with her family, now she was worrying about her sister! Her life was suddenly just gone she had no idea what to do. Her mom came in her room.
"Sweetie, what's going on with you, you haven't been yourself lately." She said
"You don't know me anymore...I don't think you ever did." Conny replied
"Conny Lynn! What happened to you, you are so disrespectful now, I do not like your tone young lady. You cannot talk to me like that!" Her mother snapped
"Well sorry, I was just kidnapped so, sorry my manners aren't the best! You know what, Jem is lucky, if she isn't dead, then she is free from all of this! She doesn't have to live with two...two...ugh...two evil freaking witches! You guys might as well go back to hell, where you came from and belong!" Conny burst out, she had no control, she just suddenly freed herself, she spoke the truth, or at least what she thought was the truth.
"Well, if that's what its gonna take to make you get used to living with your family again, so be it!" Her mom slammed the door.
"What happened?" Asked Hank
"She is growing up, we missed it all, we skipped to the part where she doesn't want her family around." Her mom let out with a sigh.
Meanwhile, Conny was grabbing her stuff, she was going to find Jem, she had to. Only question was where was Jem even alive?
