At Ms. O's office, Olive stopped. Dalila looked around in astonishment. "So this is Odd Squad's headquarters..." Olive smiled. "Yeah, this is it. Ms. O?" Knocking on the octagonal door, she entered the room.
A girl in a purple dress looked up. "Oh, hello, Olive. Back from your lunch break already..." She trailed off, noticing that there were two identical Olives looking back at her. "Oh. You've got a case of the doubles. I'll get the undoubleinator." Rising, she screamed, "OSCAR!" at the top of her lungs.
Dalila covered her ears and winced. "Yeah, the thing is, I'm not actually Olive..."
Ms. O looked at her. "You're not?"
Olive jumped in. "No, I'm Olive. This is Dalila, and she apparently plays me on a TV show or something." Dalila smiled gratefully at Olive. She could get used to that girl.
Ms. O studied her for a minute, before looking at Olive. "Okay, if you say so..."
Suddenly, Otto and Filip burst in. Otto smiled. "Olive! I found this guy who looks just like me and knows all the lyrics to Soundcheck and loves food! I think he's my long-lost twin! This is the best day ever!"
Dalila smiled. "I'm not Olive." She gently directed his gaze towards Olive. "That's Olive." Otto looked at her, then looked back at Dalila. His face showed utter confusion for a second. Then he flashed a bright grin at his partner. "You found your long-lost twin too?"
Sighing, Dalila walked over to Filip. "Hi, my name's Dalila and this is Filip. We play you two on the hit TV show Odd Squad."
Otto gasped. "So does this mean-"
Olive nodded. "It does."
Otto grinned. "I'm famous! This is so cool!" Olive stared at him, before sighing. "Never mind."
Suddenly, Oscar popped his head in the room. "Hey guys! Ms. O called me, so..." He trailed off looking at the pairs. "Oh, you have a case of the doubles. I'll get the undoublinator." Olive grabbed him by the sleeve of his lab coat just before he exited. "You are not going to get the undoubleinator, you are going to help us figure this out."
Dalila turned to Filip. "That reminds me, have you seen Sean?"
"I'll get him, I think he's still in the tube lobby." Otto rose and left the room.
Ms. O sighed. "I'm getting way, way too young for this."
