*Blaine's P.O.V*
I shifted through clothes and held my breath as I got to certain shirts and pants. Some were covered in grass stains and others were just stained with food. "How does so much food get on such a small shirt?!" I asked outloud, still in disbelief that such small children could make such a huge mess. Seriously do they roll in it?

I laughed at my thoughts and continued to sort them into different piles. Leonard walked in and set another hamper full of clothes next to me. "Gee thanks more clothes." He smirked and said, "your welcome." I rolled my eyes playfully and threw a t-shirt at him. He grabbed another piece of clothing and threw it back at me. We continued to throw clothes at each other and laughed as we did.

"What the hell are you two doing?" I jumped and turned towards helena. "Uhm..." She narrowed her eyes and shook her head, "Clean this up you both have work to do." We both nodded and started to quickly pick up the clothes. "This is your fault." Leaonard said annoyed. I just smiled and stuck my tongue out at him, "You didn't have to throw anything back at me you know."

He groaned and I giggled like a little girl. After a while we had everything rearranged and I finally started to wash clothes. As the clothes were washing I started to walk outside. There were many storm clouds outside and thunder sounded in the distance. "Blaine. I need you to make sure the generator is working it seems like theres gonna be a tough storm tonight. Take the new guy with you just in case ok?"

"Yes ma'am. I'll go do it right now." She nodded and I walked around the house in search of leonard. He was in the play room and I could hear multiple giggles and laughs. "Pick me up! Pick me up!" I walked in and saw Leonard picking up a kid one at a time and swinging them around the room. It was honestly an adorable sight to see and I leaned against the doorway smiling in content.

"You look like you're having fun." He looked at me and gave a sarcastic grin "It would be great if you would join us." He smirked as all of the kids cheered in response. I gave him an annoyed look, "I'm sorry kids but I can't right now." The kids booed and I felt a little guilty knowing they would be even more upset when I took leonard with me. "Hey we need to go check the generator to make sure its functional. It should only take about 10 minutes." The kids booed again and I smiled apologetically,  "Sorry guys but we'll only be gone for a little while. We'll be back." I smiled and waved before walking away. Leonard followed behind me and I grabbed the basement key out of helena's hand. "Could you grab the box labeled Kyle? It's for a little girl, apparently she's looking for something inside."

I nodded and leonard and I walked down the hallway to the last door. The hallway was kind of cramped since there were several boxes waiting to be put away. "I'll put those away later." I stated and quickly unlocked the door scurrying away from Leonard's judgemental gaze. "Yeah. Sure you will." He said sarcastically not at all believing me.

"I will! I swear! When I feel like it. Which will probably be never.... but it'll happen at.. at some point in time.... I hope." I guiltily shrugged and turned on the shifty, untrustworthy light in the basement. It was cliche but there was unfortunately only one dang light in the basement. "Is there seriously only one light in here?" Leonard asked glaring at the dim sorry excuse for a lightbulb. "Yep. And don't insult it. It might go out..." I nervously rambled and petted the lightbulb. "Please don't go out..."

Leo sighed and rubbed his temples, "Where's the generator?" I looked around and shrugged, "Somewhere behind some of these boxes."

"Great...."

************Time Skip**********

"I found it!" I yelled out excitingly happy to have finally found the stupid generator. "Now to turn it on. Hey leo a little help?" He walked over and squinted at the dusty generator. "Ok. I'll start this up and you get the box." I nodded and started to shift through the dusty boxes, and started to sneeze every now and then, I patted my pockets and was startled because the key wasn't in my pocket. Oh crap. "Hey leo did you leave the basement door open??" I asked a little worried.

He took a second but said a quick "no" and I started to freak out. "Leonard I left the key on the other side. The kids probably have it now." I slammed my head on a box and dust floated all around me.

"Shit."
***********Time Skip*********

I found the right box a short time later and I walked up the stairs prepared to bang until someone got helena. *bang* *bang* *bang* "Kids! Can one of you get helena for me?"

I heard many screams and some kids started saying there was a demon. I sighed and leaned my head on the door. "Nevermind." I should have remembered that the kids were the ones that stole the key... and that they are all terrified of the basement... I walked back down the stairs and sat on the last step exhausted. Leonard sat down beside me and we both sighed tired and ready to relax. "We're probably gonna be stuck here awhile. Just so you know." I warned him and leaned my head on his shoulder. "I figured." He shrugged and leaned his head onto my head. We both closed our eyes too tired to fight or even have a conversation.
*******yet another time skip*******

We both had fallen asleep for who knows how long. When we had woken up the light was starting to dim and flicker. "So you're awake?" Leonard asked as he pet my hair. Unconsciously I slightly leaned into his hand. "Shh I'm tired." I teased and put my finger against his lips. He smiled lightly and grasped my hand. Then he did the most cliche thing in the world and brushed a stray hair behind my ear. I felt my face get warm I tried to say something clever."That was cheesy." Nailed it. He jusr rolled his eyes. Crap

"Just shut up." He retorted and leaned his forehead against mine. My breath stopped abruptly and I tilted my head up. "What are you waiting for?" Yes now thats clever. Kiss me already." Shit. He probably thinks I'm horny or something.

"Gladly." Oh heck yes. Definitely nailed it this time.

He slowly pressed his lips against mine and I felt my face get warm as I brought my hand up to his cheek. His lips were not so surprisingly soft and we immediately molded our lips together and his hand went to the small of my back pulling us closer together. After a few moments we separated and just stared at each other for a minute. "What now?" I asked unsure of what we were at the moment.  He smiled and looked me straight in the eyes. "I'd like to take you out on a date if you wouldn't mind?" I smiled happily and kissed his cheek.

"Gladly."
