Chapter Ten// Never tell Alix about Edgar.

Alix arrived at my house and we went to school together. Edgar left since yesterday ever since he kissed me and he didn't return back. I told Alix about it and she wouldn't shut up.

"Seriously?!"she exclaimed as she pulled into the parking lot.

"It wasn't that...great"I blushed.

"Your blush says otherwise"

"I'm not blushing!"

"Well,is he a good kisser?"

"Seriously? That's all you can say?"

"Well,is he?"

"Well...I didn't kiss him back"

"Dudette!"she drawled.

"What!it was unexpected!"I said as we both alighted the car.

"Unexpected or not how could you not use that opportunity?"

"Can you just close it?"I asked as we walked to the school building.

"No! You saw him shirtless, how did he look?"

"Ugghhhh"I complained.

"Is he under the O.M.G-I-Wanna-fuck-you-"

"Gross!"

"Or O.M.G-You're-hot-I-wish-I-could-date-you class?"she asked,smiling so wide.

"I dunno"I growled.

Lesson: Never tell Alix about Edgar.

Really...why did I tell her?

I looked at my right as I walked to my locker and I saw Edgar with Duncan, talking.

Well... That's a shocker.

Duncan was pointing his finger at him and talking angrily while Edgar folded his arms with a huge smirk on his face.

"Should we...walk up to them?"Alix asked.

"No"I said.

"Oh oh"she said 'cause both of them were staring at us.

Me,particularly.

Edgar frowned at me and walked away.

Am I that bad of a kisser?

I watched him, exit the hallway and sighed. I can't believe I'm thinking of him. Well, because he kissed me.

I guess.

"We have maths"Alix said, snapping me out.

"Oh,yeah, right"I said and we walked to class.

                           ***

Edgar was no where to be found and so was Duncan. It was school over and I went home alone 'cause Alix had a doctor's appointment.

I was walking home and a car pulled up in front of me. Well,I was on my street so I guess I was safe.

"Hey"Edgar said as he came out.

"Hey"I said, unable to breath well and I was walking away.

"Jeez...get a grip. It's not like he's gonna kiss you"my subconscious said.

"Wait-"he said and I stopped dead on my tracks.

Darn it!

"I was going to grab a Burger. Wanna tag?"

"I'll pass"

"Look,I'm sorry I yelled okay?"

"I'm not offended"I said,trying to walk away.

"Then come with me"

"No"

"No?"

"No"

Now it's my turn to say No.

"Edgar don't take "No" for an answer"he smirked.

"Hmmm..."I said."No"I added,walking home.

"Cute ass"

"Jerk!"I said walking backwards. I tried so hard not to blush.

"Barbie"

"Fuckface"

"Doll face"

"Stupid shenani-arghhh"I said as I fell on my butt 'cause I stumbled.

"Are you okay?"Edgar asked, with concern in his voice.

"Does it look like I'm okay?"I snapped 'cause of my injured arm.

I had a little cut already. It was so painful.

"Come on,let's go"he said and took me home, using his car.

We got home and he used the first aid kit on my arm. I guess it was him treating me now.

"Sorry"he said as I winced at the pain of the iodine.

A tear slipped down my cheek and he wiped it off for me,smiling.

"Thanks"I said and got up.

I pulled off my jacket and dropped it in my laundry basket. I was wearing a tank top so there was no biggy.

"What's that at the back of your neck?"he asked.

"What?"I asked, touching the back of my neck.

"A huge scar"

"Oh..."I said,remembering what happened.

My dad did it to me.

"It's nothing"I lied in a little whisper.

"You can talk to me"

"I don't wanna"I said with a cracked voice.

Damn it!I was almost crying.

"Barbie"he stood up and walked towards me.

"Go. Edgar"I said quietly, already crying.

I was so surprised as he pulled me into a friendly hug. I sobbed on his chest and he rubbed me back for comfort.
