Chapter Six// Mean Duncan.

"And your mum thought it was a good idea making him live with you?!"Duncan exclaimed.

Duncan,Alix and I were currently sitting on the grass during lunch. I told them about Edgar being my house mate and Duncan hated the idea. I also dislike it very much.

"I wish I were you"Alix said and we stared at her as she made a dreamy face."what?he's hot"

"And bad news"Duncan said.

"But he kept smiling and it was really cute,to be honest"I confessed.

"Not to talk of his sexy voice"Alix said with a blush.

"You girls make me sick"Duncan said.

"Says the boy who doesn't love girls but boys"Alix said.

"Whatever"he scoffed.

"He offered me a ride this morning but,I declined"I said.

"Next time,I'm coming to your house. He'll drive us both"Alix said.

"Don't you have a car?"Duncan asked her.

"Shouldn't you be minding your business?"she spat at him and he looked away. I guess he was avoiding any fight with her.

Alix changed the subject to having a sleep over at her house. Duncan said he'll pass 'cause...yeah,he's a guy.

"Hey Gillian"I heard behind me.

I turned and met Edgar smiling at me but I sent him a death glare. He sat on the grass beside me and I scoffed.

"I thought I told you my rule"I said.

"Oh!I didn't specify this"he said."I break rules"he added with a wink and looked at Duncan who was clenching his jaw.

"Oh...you again?"he said with a smirk.

"Well,it's not nice seeing you too"Duncan said.

"How's that brother of yours?"

"How's that whore you call a mum?"Duncan spat back with a smirk."sorry,I totally forgot she doesn't exist"

Edgar was trying real hard not to fight Duncan 'cause he just stared at him so hard before standing up to leave.

"I'll be seeing you at home Gillan"he said still looking at Duncan and he walked away.

"What was that?"I asked.

"Nothing"Duncan said.

"Why did you say that to him?"Alix asked.

"Because he deserved it"

"You do know he'd have pounded you"

"And be back in jail"Duncan clenched his jaw and stood up.

"You're hiding something"I said.

"Yeah?and you're not?"he said to me and walked away.

"So you both are keeping secrets?"Alix asked."okay then. I'm totally not offended because if I am,I'd not be here"she stood up"I am totally offended"she said and stormed off angrily. She's crazy.

I wonder why Duncan said that to Edgar. It was kind of mean.
