Chapter Three// He knows my name?

I was in my room writing my story titled,"I WISH". I love writing stories a lot because it makes me write some parts of my life down.

It was 9:03pm and mum hasn't come home. I decided to go take an Apple juice in the kitchen and I heard the front door slam. I checked who entered and it turned out to be my mum.

"Gilliaaaaannnnn"she drawled and fell on the couch.

I hate seeing my mum in this condition. She started drinking after the divorce and it's starting to make me worried.

"Hey mum"I said dryly.

"I met a maaaannnnn"she said and gave a loud burp.

"Ew"I muttered and she got up.

"Goodnight kiddo"she said and climbed the stairs. She tripped and fell but she laughed.

"Are you okay?"I asked.

"Sure,baby. Mummy's always okaaaaayyyy"she smiled at me before walking to her room.

I sighed and went to my room after turning off the lights. At least, she got home safe. I dunno what I'd do if I heard she had an accident.

I got to school the next day and walked straight to my locker. I picked my notebooks and was about to close my locker but Edgar slammed it and looked at me daringly.

"Hey Gillian"he smiled.

Why does he have to be so dangerous and hot? I gulped still looking at him,scared of what he'll do and...he knows my name?

"Shocked,I found your name?"he asked and I was still mute."told you I'll find out 'bout you. It's a small town cupcake"he said and I gulped again. I looked at the floor to avoid his gaze.

"Still scared of me?"he asked and I still kept my mouth shut."look at me"he commanded.

"Please,don't make me"I begged.

"Look.at.me"he said with warning in his voice and I slowly raised my head up."Good"he said and I was saved by the bell.

I was about to go to my class but he dragged me back. I gasped as I hit his hard chest and I looked at him.

"Whatever you saw that night, is not what you think it is"

"I gotta go"I said audibly,finally finding my voice.

"I'll see you later"he let go and ran off.

During lunch, I sat with Alix and Duncan suddenly appeared in front of us. He sat down and we just stared at him.

"What?"he asked.

"Finally realized Terence is a jerk?"Alix asked.

"I wish you were a boy"he said"be happy I don't beat up ladies"

"I'll try to remember that"

"So...I saw you with Edgar"he said to me.

"W-what?"I stuttered.

"Yeah. He looked like he was gonna kiss you"

"What!"Alix and I said.

"You didn't tell me?"she asked.

"That was wrong. He didn't wanna kiss me"I said.

"How do you even know him?"Duncan asked.

"I don't know him"

"Sure,you don't"Alix said."you're hiding things from us and what did he mean by "you're the girl from yesterday?"

"He's crazy"I said.

"And dangerous"Duncan added."he was expelled and now he's here"

"Why was he expelled?"I asked.

"Can't tell but you girls should stay away from him. He's bad news"

"He's hot"Alix pouted while looking at him where he sat. I looked at him and he raised his head up and winked at me.

"Did you see that?"she asked me immediately I looked away.

"Why did Terence break up with you?"I asked Duncan,changing the topic.

"Well...I might have gotten drunk and slept with his sister's friend in a party?"he said which was more like a question.

"What!"Alix and I shouted.

"What?I was drunk"he defended.

"Anyway, I'm glad you're over"Alix said.

"Because you dunno what it feels like to be loved"he spat at her.

"At least I'm not a freak of my own sex even if I've never had a boyfriend. And even if I haven't,what's so bad?"she said to him and stabbed her fries with her fork angrily before getting up.

"You shouldn't have said that"I said.

"Whatever"he scoffed."She'll get over it"he added and I nodded my head disappointedly.

"Probably"he added.
