I Love You

Jasper decided he wanted to see me do some archery practice so now we're in a meadow in the woods near my house.

"Do you really want to see this?"

"Yeah, why?"

"This is what I do to kill other vampires."

"As long as it's not aimed at me I think I'll be fine."

"Alright." I sighed.

I drew the string back focusing, letting out a breath, the letting it go. The arrow went flying to the target hitting dead in the middle.

"Wow."

"That's nothing." I grabbed another arrow from the quiver. "I was messing around with it one day and started practicing something I knew I would never use, but it was different." I turned my back to the target pointing the bow behind me then letting it go again. When I turned back around the arrow had gone straight through the target.

"Now that's impressive. Got anything else?"

"I've done everything there is to do."

"So pick your best."

"Go to the other end of the meadow and stand under the target down there." He gave me a strange look.

"Don't you trust me Cowboy?"

"Depends, are you fully in control?"

"I always seem to be in control around you, it's really strange."

He obeyed the order.

"You down there?" I asked.

"Yeah!"

I closed my eyes pulled the string back and released it. I didn't here any screams so that seems like a good sign.

Opening my eyes I started walking down to where he was frozen in fear.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, just a little terrified." I started.

"You told me to try my best."

"I didn't think it would include me."

"Want me to let you in on a little secret?"

"Sure."

"I've never done that before, plus I closed my eyes." I laughed.

"Comforting." He said sarcastically.

"I didn't kill you did I?"

"No."

"Then get over it!" I smiled.

We held each others gaze for a minute not even noticing that we were coming closer together until we were an inch apart. Something had taken over us as our lips gently closed the gap between then.

The kiss was sweet and passionate. My arms moved up around his neck as he moved his to my waist. At this moment I don't think I've ever loved anyone more then I love this boy in front of me.

When we parted it felt like I was on some sort of high.

"I've been waiting for a good time to do that since the first day I met you." Jasper whispered just inches from my face.

I smiled. "I think I might love you."

"Well I know I love you." He pulled me into another kiss.
