Totally Clueless{Hicstrid}

chapter 9

"This is the place?" Hiccup asked, stopping at a big white house at the end of the street. I gathered my things, and got ready to get out of the car.

"Yep!"

Of courses my dad wouldn't let up and let me have the car to drive to the party, so I was stuck with either-

Option a:stay at home and mope and whine.

Option b: ask (beg) Hiccup to drive me. (Which really killed my pride)

As you can probably see I was stuck with option b, which kinda sucked, but at least it was my best friend and not my chauffeur Dagur, who's sour attitude and bad breath could make anyone snap  (I honestly don't why  my dad still pays him, I refuse to get in the car aith Dagur bc he creeps me out).

"Well ...call me if you  need too?" Hiccup said

"No need, I'll pick up a ride with a friend" I  said dismissively,  "bye Hiccup" I said smiling

"Bye,Astrid" He said getting back into the car and pulling off.

As I walked into the party I immediately felt many tiny little eyes on me.

I had threw on a beautiful blue dress with silver swirls across the bottom, and my silver heels. For my hair I had put it into a messy ponytail with little swirls on the sides. Even though I loved dressing up for parties, I always felt butterflies when I actually walked into the party.

I began to walk around until I found Ruffnut, who was talking to Heather.

As I made way for them I ran into someone.

"Sorry!" I said not paying attention.

"My fault hon" a sickly aweet voice replied back.
It wasnt until I looked up at her face did I notoce that it was Brianna herself.

"Eww" We both said, looking each other up and down.

Of course Brianna had choose the most povacative dress in her closet. She had decided on a deep red short dress wih extra high heels that  made her taller than half the boys here! Of course her dress would've been pretty if it hadn't been for the V neck at the front  that literally went down to her belly button.

We automatically turned away from each other and proceeded in different directions.

"Hey you made it" Ruffnut said

" Of course I did" I said taking a look at her and Heather's party clothes" You guys look stunning!"

It was true. Ruffnut had on a datk blue dress that fit snug around her waist, but flared out at the bottom. She also had on green flats, while her hair was in a crown hairdo, giving her the queen aura.

Heather on the other hand had on a black shirt that trailed in the back, and she paired it with red tights and black heels. Her hair was down and slightly curled.

"Thanks!" They both said, with a big smile.

"So did I miss anything?"

"Well Brianna was caught making out with Alex." Ruffnut said, a smile evident on her face.Alex was another one of my exs who aperantly didn't have any good taste, which was probably why I broke up with him.

"Seriously! I guess I didn't miss much then" I said, while the others laughed.

Just then I looked up and spotted Snoutlout walking towards us.

"Wanna dance?" He said looking in my direction.

"Nah.My feet hurt"I replied, while looking in Heather's direction"but Heather would"

Snoutlout had a disappointed look on his face, but quickly changed it to an excited one."Well.. how could I refuse a beautiful maiden such as this one?" He said dragging a blushing Heather out  the floor.

I laughed and waved at her.

"I don't think you should have done that."Ruffnut said, frowning at me with a disapproving look.

"Just doing my job as a matchmaker"I said nudging her shoulder.

"Whatever,Astrid."

"OMG, this is mah song, lets go dance I said dragging her out onto the floor.

"Fine"She said cracking a smile.

*time skip*

Even though the party lasted a long time it was finally time to hit the hay.I could tell my dad would be worried ,so I decided to hitch a ride with my friends.

"Astrid!" I heard

I turned to see Snoutlout running towards me"let me drive you home.I want to talk to you."

I guess it couldn't hurt to talk

"Okay" I said "lets talk."

*another time skip*

Lets just say there wasn't a lot of talking, and this wasnt even the route to my house, but I had hope that Snoutlout knew where to go.

I soon lost that hope as he pulled into a gas station.

"So Astrid.. I've been thinking" he said, shifting a bit in his seat "Whats stopping us?"

I know where this is going

"I don't know what you mean Snoutlout" I said feigning ignorance

If he tries to touch me I will end him

"Well.." he said moving closer " why can't their be an us?"

"Look Snout.. I'm flattered, but I don't  like you like that."

He continued to move way too close for my comfort zone and as he began to lean in and I knew that me and him were thinking totally opposite things.  This was "kissing" body language. And I was not about to kiss Snoutlout.So I did the only thing thinkable at the moment.

I punched him in the face and tried to jump out of the car.He grabbed my wrist, and I bite him, causing him to let go.

"Cmon Astrid, the two most popular kids in school! We'd make an unbeatable couple!"

"Get away from me you creep!" I hissed at him running away from the car.

"Cmon babe!I'll  drive you home!You don't really want to walk home do you?"

I spat at him and contunied walking in the opposite direction.

"Fine!" He yelled back,clearly fustrated" walk home!"he pulled off and circled around to the exit, leaving me standing there wondering how I was going to get home.
