Chapter nine.
Coffee isn't the only thing.
As I walked into Starbucks I spotted Dan straight away, he smiled standing up from his chair as I walked over. He had sat by the window in the back so we were cut off from people mainly.
"I got you a hot chocolate, I didn't know if you'd like it" he nervously said sitting back down.
"I like it, has Phil been sending you pictures with house plants on his head or is it just me?" I chuckled and he slightly laughed nodding.
"So..." He said searching for something to say, I sipped my drink uncomfortably as we both say in silence.
"This isn't a date is it?" I blurted out, god damn it thoughts stay in my brain!
"A date? What no" Dan said shaking his head, I looked away getting embarrassed suddenly.
"So tell me about yourself Dan" I said trying to get away from the date topic, Dan smiled showing his dimples before talking.
"Well, I procrastinate an unhealthy amount of times a day, my life revolves around Phil and youtube, and anime, I've never really been the outgoing type, then again neither have you for what I've heard"
"Considering I have twelve million subscribers, you would think I was super outgoing but in reality Zoe and Louise drag me out most days" I slightly laughed.
"Phil does that with me, you should've seen his face when I said I was going out alone today"
"You didn't tell Phil you were with me?" I asked and he shook his head, I felt hurt by this remark but it was Dans choice to tell Phil not mine, after all this wasn't a date.
After an hour of laughing and talking about things with Dan we decided to go for a walk. We walked up by the river Thames, and admired the view of London.
"Don't suppose you'd like to hold my hand again?" Dan asked, I nodded taking his hand in mine as we walked. I could see him smiling from the corner of my eye.
(A/N I feel like Dan would ask to hold hands Omg he's so cute)
I looked at my phone with my other hand too see a dozen texts from most of my friends;
Phillip✨💕: Come over later?
Louiseee💎💍: R U OUT W/ HOWELL?!
Zoe💖💖: HAVE TOU KISSED?!!!
Zoe💖💖: PLEASE TELL ME INFO
Zoe💖💖: IM DYIN REPLY ASAP
Joe😍: Since when were u and Dan dating?
Zoe can not keep her mouth shut for the life of her, I slightly laughed at everybody's reactions to Zoe's news, but I texted them all back saying we were just hanging out.
"Hey Dan" I said holding my phone up, he leaned in as we took a picture and you could slightly see that we were holding hands, hopefully nobody notices that. Who am I kidding? Mine and dans fans will notice that right away! There's whole accounts based on YouTube drama and this is probably going to be on there, I shrugged it off and posted it anyways.
"This is nice" Dan smiled swinging our arms back and forth, I slipped my phone into my pocket when I suddenly heard a bunch of screams. Dan quickly moved his hand from mine as we turned around.
A group of teenage girls came running over and started to hug us and be all giddy. I laughed taking some pictures and signing their phone cases.
"Are you two dating?" One asked, me and Dan looked at each other before answering no.
"But you were holding hands" another girl piped up.
"Violets scared of water, and she doesn't want to accidentally slip into the river" Dan lied, I felt my stomach drop at his words, he would hold my hand and be all sweet then deny everything?
"Can we get a group photo?" One girl asked holding a selfie stick up, we all huddled together and the smallest girl hugged me so I smiled hugging her back, nothing made me happier than fans meeting me.
"Thanks for everything, were huge fans" A girl smiled showing me her top, she was wearing my Merch.
"We love you too!" I smiled as they walked away, Dan chuckled looking at me before we started to walk again.
