Chapter six.

He's a ten I'm a six.

I was contemplating weather to tell Zoe and Louise about what happened with Dan, the rest of that night we didn't even talk, Phil took away some of the tension of course.

"Violet? Are you listening?" Louise said clicking in my face, I looked up and she laughed at my dazed expression, we were currently sitting in her living room with joe as he tagged along with us.

"What was that?" I asked as Darcy came up to me and asked me to braid her hair.

"Well we were just saying, Dan tweeted out some stuff...stuff that sounds like you" Zoe said as I started to do Darcy's hair.

"Like what?" I mumbled.

"Well the night you said they came around Dan tweeted, 'Always know how to make a situation awkward' and then he said this 'Can't stop overthinking about one stupid thing'

"What happened?" Joe asked.

"Well, they came over and I learnt them how to dance then Phil went to get food and Dan said something funny so we were laughing, then I fell on the floor and grabbed him by mistake and then he was just hovering over me, as if we were about to kiss or something then Phil walked in" I explained then looking at them, Zoe looked as if she was about to burst.

"I can't believe it! You and Dan! After all these years I never even considered you and him, but now it's all changed you and him would be perfect! Your both socially uncomfortable and awkward a-" she rambled before Louise stopped her.

"So do you like him?" She asked leaning in closer, Zoe and joe both leaned in as if I was going to whisper my answer.

"No, I hardly know him" All three of them let out a whine, I didn't even know anything about Dan; "Why do you all want me in a relationship so bad?"

"Because V, you've been single so long, and the happiest I've ever seen you is when you were wit-" I stopped Joe as he was about to say a name I did not want to hear.

"That's enough, but why can't you just take me speed dating or something so I can go on one date and never speak to the guy again, then you'll drop this whole thing"

"But you and Dan" Zoe whined.

"I'm a Violet and Phil kinda girl" Lou said and I shook my head suddenly feeling annoyed, I did not like Phil in a romantic way and nor did I like Dan.

As I finished plaiting Darcy's hair I sunk into my seat folding my arms feeling rather pissed off.

"Come on V, we were only suggesting, you don't have to date anybody"

"Dan and Phil are on the way!" Louise happily shouted, I looked at her with a horrified look, why would she invite them over?

It was seven pm when Dan and Phil arrived, Darcy had gone up to bed and Louise had ordered too many pizzas, and Zoe picked out a film with Joe. As for myself I sat sulking in the living room.

"Hey Violet, Lou didn't tell us you'd be here" Phil smiled sitting down, the only spot left for Dan was right next to me. He sat down avoiding any eye contact with him when Louise brought the pizza in.

"We're gonna watch Incidious" Zoe smiled clapping her hands together, the one thing I hated was horror films. Distracting My thoughts somebody knocked on the front door and Zoe stood up.

"That'll be Caspar and Alfie" she smiled and I looked over to Dan, who was staring at his hands.

"This is turning into a full blown party" I slightly laughed earning a smile from Dan, Joe and Caspar sat on the floor in front of me,Phil, Dan and Louise and Zoe cuddled up to Alfie on the other sofa.

Louise made me and Dan share a pizza because we were the only ones who wanted pineapple on ours, We were mid way through the film when i grabbed my second slice of pizza, i had been too engrossed in the film to eat. Even though this would bite me in the ass later on when i try to sleep. But when i moved my hand it wasn't pizza i grabbed, I put my Pizza greece hands on Dan Howells crotch. 

Dan looked at me wide eyed as i quickly moved my hand away feeling my cheeks go red. Suddenly for dan to burst out laughing. I began to laugh at the situation, Zoe turned the light back on and they all stared at us waiting for whatever was funny to be told. 

"What is it?" Joe asked, Dan looked at me trying to be serious but we both erupted with laughter again. 

"Your pizza is there" Dan said pointing to the box next to him.
