(Stuart Bellamy ~as~ Jordan Malum)

Abigail looked at the man who was once the center of her world and bit her tongue. How was she supposed to just talk to him after everything he'd said and done to her. How was she supposed to be the strong woman she knew she was when all she wanted to do was break into tears at just the sound of his voice. As the bass thumped through her chest she took a breath and stood up straight tilting her chin defiantly.

"What do you want Jordan," she said with as little emotion as possible, "I'm trying to have a girls night out as you can see."

The corner of Jordan's mouth tipped up into a sneer his eyes flicking to who she assumed was her dance partner for the last few songs. "From what I can see you're having the time of your life," he said with a joyless laugh. He offered her an open hand with a pleading look in his eyes, "care to dance? For old times sake?"

She looked at his smooth palm then up to his piercing blue eyes her heart giving a painful throb. She watched his eyes move again to someone behind her, watching a flash of something go through them and dissapear just as fast. Dissregarding his offered hand she turned and gave a relived sigh to see Reggie standing behind her. Reggie was looking down at her a worry line creasing her brows as she mouthed "wanna go?" to which Abi gave a small smile and shook her head. She turned back to Jordan seeing him looking intently at her, his hand still outstretched.

Straightening her shoulders she brushed her long locks out of her face and stated, "you know what? I think I'm good. But there are plenty of other girls that would love your company for the eavinging." Giving him a dismissive smile she walked around him and straight to the bar where her pink haired friend was waiting, a worried look clear in her eyes and praying to God that Reggie was right behind her.

Roxy opened her arms and pulled her in for a hug, "are you okay sweetie? Do I need to go kick his ass?" Abigail laughed and shook her head "no, but I could use another boost from liquid courage?"

Reggie and Roxy gave her a matching wry grin and leaned over the bar catching the eye of a bartender and gestured for two more shots each. They turned back and Reggie looked just as shocked as Roxy was mad causing Abi to be very confused.

"What? Do I have something on my face" she asked and just as she reached up selfconciously to feel her face a large smooth palm caught her arm and pulled her away from her friends quickly. Turning her body she looked straight into the piercing blue eyes once again.

She jerked her arm out of his grip and spat "the fuck Jordan! Can't you tell I'm done with you, I have absolutly no time for a two-timing ass hole!"

She watched him take a deep breathe and saw his lips move as if counting down from ten. When he opened his eyes and speared her with a look that radiated fury she took a step back. "Abi you haven't givin me the chance to even explain myself! How could you be so callus and just throw what we had away? Over some picture no less!" He grabbed her by her arms with the hands she used to find so comforting and gave her a small shake, "I love you Abigail! Just let me explain!"

Keeping the fear that was flowing through her from her face she struggled to get out of his grasp her eyes darting around at all the staring strangers and murmered, "Jordan please let me go everyone is staring."

He forced her over to a corner away from most prying eyes and pressed her to the wall with his large form. She'd never been scared of Jordan, in fact she'd had a hard time giving up the love she had for him. But the crazed look in his eyes and his grip on her arms was terrifying her. The hight he had on her used to be comforting, now it was causing her to feel trapped. She had no where to go she couldn't escape!

Blood started to pump in her ears muffling the sound of music and whatever he was saying to her. It was suddenly too hot and she couldn't breathe. She could no longer control her face making her fear clearly evident which seemed to only spur him on. "Please, please let me go," she gasped out the breath seeming to flee her lungs as soon as it came. Then he was gone.

She crumpled to the floor curling her face into her knees covering her ears with her hands. It was too much there were too many people looking, too much sound, too hot! "Can't breathe" she gasped.

Someone crouched in front of her tried to pull her hands from her ears causing her to flinch away squeezing her eyes shut and curl more tightly into herself. The hands came back once again this time placing themselfs gently over hers helping to block out more sound. Her eyes shot open and crashed into the most calm pair of grey eyes surrounded by the darkest lashes she'd ever seen. The stranger took his big warm hands from her causing her to shiver slightly. Black dots slowly swam into her vision and she watched the calm flee from the strangers eyes quickly replaced by worry. Her world quickly faded to black just as the stranger reached out to catch her.

Finally, it was quiet.
