Chapter 11

Piper's POV
Annabeth and Percy came back, holding hands. I smirked. This ship is going to be the fastest to ever sail.

Annabeth looked nervous as she sat down.

I raised an eyebrow. "Got anything to tell us, Annie?"

She glared at me. "Me and Percy are dating."

Travis, Jason, Conner, and also high-fives while me and Calypso fist-bumped.

Annabeth and Percy looked shaken up for some reason. I wonder who asked who? I have to pry for the details later!

Annabeth's POV
I could see that look in Piper's eyes, and immediately I knew I was in for it. The bell rang, signaling that lunch was over. I quickly grabbed my stuff and walked away when a felt a hand pulling me back. I turned around and my gaze was locked in Percy's sea green eyes.

"I'll come pick you up at six. Does that sound ok?"

I nodded, giving him a smile. "Thanks again for giving me a ride. What class do you have next? I have study hall next with Mrs.Horcket."

Percy's smile dissolved into a small frown. "I have study hall too...but with Mr.Carlson."

I gave him a small hug before parting ways with him.

Rachel's POV
I glared at Percy and Annabeth as they talked near the corner of the cafeteria. Rumor has it that they're dating. I sneered. As if! Everyone knows Percy loves me.
My eyes widened and my heart cracked as I saw them hug. It couldn't be a friendly hug..could it? I felt tears building up in my eyes as I turned my gaze away from them, rushing into the bathroom. I struggled to keep my tears in, unwilling to let my mascara get ruined.

In the end, I gave up, sobbing quietly in a stall until the late bell rang. I quickly picked up my discarded backpack and got out my make up. I rubbed make up remover on my face and quickly reapplied my make up. I looked back at my reflection. I was rich. I had everything, I guess it's true that money can't buy you happiness.
